If you like to access your sd card while cheating as well, like importing stages and doing shit inside it via Brawl, you can better use Gecko OS. It's a more stable version of Ocarina, and less likely to crash.

It's easier to use the windows editor, make a hacked stage, and save it to an SD card. Homebrew isn't even required.

before you should even think about doing brawl hacks you need to have the homebrew channel.

then you need to put the cheating App called "Ocarina" on the sd card in a folder called "APPS".

Hacks can only mess up your wii if u do something ur not suppose to. In brawl music, & playable giga bowser hacks have been known to damage the wii. If u don't do either ur fine however if u use them ur doing so at your own risk. It can mess up your wii but it won't happen all the time.

I am not really liking the homebrew channel thing, because my wii is freezing more and more often and it's getting on my nerves, so I might just get rid of it. And like everytime I try doing size modifier hacks it freezes and i'm all like wtf, why did it do that etc. I also tried doing the stage modifier hack on wifi which didn't work either.

Yes, I used the hacks corresponding to my region RSBE01 I believe. NTSC version. What irritates me now, is sometimes when I am online WITHOUT the cheats even being enabled, It STILL freezes, which is occuring more frequently and I hope that I did not permanently damage my wii. I tried doing custom stages online by replacing the 2 x's thing and it didn't work online or ofline. I never was able to to moveset swapping because I don't know how. If you know how, could you PLEASE help me.
