  • The BLR is an excellent rifle. Almost no lever action type rifles are strong enough to fire these types of rifle cartridges and are hindered by tubular magazines which negate the use of pointy ammunition. 7mm Rem Mag in a lever rifle? Amazing!

  • Is this the take down model? I want to get one in 30-06

  • WHAT SIZE IS THE BARREL ON THAT 7MM

  • @pimpnEd 24" I believe.

  • You can get this BLR in 450 Marin, 300 Win Mag, and 338 Win Mag. That should cover about all North American game you wanna hunt.

  • nice vid

  • I got one in 7mm and one in 450 marlin there great

  • poor guy must be shell shocked, no kick? a walther G-22 firing colibris has no kick, makes a slight "pop". you should play with .22LR colibris!

  • I'm sure there is some kick! 150 grain bullets should be too bad though....he looks like a big guy too

  • No kick, as the gun jumps 6 inches :P

  • @taekwondoboi911 That first shot, he did hold it pretty steady.

  • Thanks for the link in the description. I thought all lever-action rifles had tubular magazines, so this video wouldn't be safe. Now I know.

  • @csmybuttt We both learned something from this! I didn't know either.

  • @csmybuttt Box magaxines are required for any cartridge using "spitzer", or "pointy" bullet tips. Yuou just can't stack them in a tubular magazine, tip against primer.

    Bad things may happen.

  • @TheHiddenPart Yes. That is why I assumed this video wasn't safe. Thank you for taking information I already know, and breaking it down even further. Certainly I had no idea that "spitzer" was a "pointy" round until your comment.

  • @csmybuttt I sense the need for some Preparation H here.

    Butthurt any?

  • @TheHiddenPart I'm sorry Captain Obvious. Am I not stupid enough for your patronizing tone?

  • @csmybuttt Not everybody knows what a "spitzer" round is. Get off your throne.

  • @TheHiddenPart I'm sorry I knew what a spitzer was. It's ironic you're telling me to "get off your throne" when you were the one who replying in a condescending tone.

  • @TheHiddenPart not if it as a flex tip.

  • @TheDodgeChallenger You mean polymer-tipped projectiles?

Well that may work, but you'll get your tip damaged..

  • @TheHiddenPart hornady leverevolution you gotta look it up its real and proven safe and better performing.

  • @TheDodgeChallenger Yeah I've looked it up. Looks like a fine concept. Except for the day you'll think "oh I've run out of them, let's use those FMJBT, they'll do just fine..."

  • @TheHiddenPart you got a good point there.

  • Wow, I didn't know lever actions could handle 7mm Rem Mag. *no kick brother, no kick* / slow motion.

  • @MegaGewehr It has a box magazine instead of a tube one. Pretty interesting rifle. He got it in a trade for building an AR for someone.

  • Short and sweat, awesome video as usual!

  • @PatriotsniperPaul Thanks!

  • "no kick brother, no kick"..

    I'm not convinced. LOL

  • @TheHiddenPart haha, yeah the high speed says another story. Those were some pretty large cartridges!
