For what I do I like my d700 and 105 macro, best comb ever. That and 14-24mm 2.8 are all I need. I really hope nikon comes out with a 200 macro VR soon.

I'm sure you're aiming that towards a newer 200mm micro. A new one with VR... I couldn't see the need. I understand the purposes for VR with the 105 micro, but with the 200? Naw.

Many still believe it's the best macro lens ever created and could care less for an update! I still don't know why you'd want VR on it. It's not meant to be hand-held, and it's predominately meant to only be used for 1:1 and close to it. To clarify, you don't use VR in macro and the damn lens is meant to be shot on a tripod.

FX shoots at 9-10fps

DX shoots at 11-12fps

i use my DX lenses in FX format ahah!
