Thanks for this post!! This was the first Winston Cup race I attended!!! I had been a fan since 1986...but this race in 1991 was the first time I got to see them in person!!

Ironically, 20 years later, I attended my first race at dover. I have been a fan since 96, but it was my first race. I still go to dover every year.

@battalionfan888 with all due respect, you are only half right. this was TNN's second-ever LIVE Cup race. but they did broadcast several tape delayed Cup races back in the '80's on American Sports Cavalcade. if you dont believe me, check out my American Sports Cavalcade playlist. in fact, the two head commentators back then were Steve Evans and Brock Yates...
