Thank you Chun for this moving video... it captures the trials and tribulations that these people have been subjected to... a system that does not think twice to use you as needed but dismisses you like a worn out tire when you're done. War, what is it good for, absolutely NOTHING!
I first heard of Jessica through a song a friend wrote based on this documentary she had seen. The song is by Ruth D Hill called "Jessica Says" and is on her myspace page. It won't let me post a link.
To the family of Jessica, I'm so sorry for your loss.
that poor kid i got hit by car have ptsd she had all the symthams of ptsd i have alot of respect for soldiers they put there lives in danger noone understands the trama they go through you have to exsperiance it in real life to understand it r.i.p jessica
this is what happens sometimes to soldiers they go to war thinking they have a place to return to be love but the person they believe the most hurt them.so at the end this is what happens he commit suicide.so girls, womans, ladys, whatever when a soldier goes to war is thinking before he goes away to hug you again and to have you there not for you to run,go away, cheat!! womans thta do this shold be in prison.
well what about the innocent people she hit head on while driving drunk???? if you dont want to fight for your country and freedom and justice then dont join the armed forces.
peace and luv to her fam and to da famz of all my fallen brothas and sistas, one day somebody will understand that da war is not ova just because we left IRAQ, but a new battle has just begone in our mind. in this battle its just us against ourselves tryin to forget what we have been through.....but "only da dead have seen da end of war" R.I.P "ENGINEERS LEAD DA WAY"
Thank you for making this video. I am Jessica Richs sister and that was exactly how she felt about the war and It was nice to see video of her it is not something we have a lot of now that she is dead..
Sorry for your loss. I suffer from PTSD and have watched this video lots of times in the past. I feel like your sister would have been one of the few to understand me and my situation. And likewise I would have understood her. I wish I could have been kind & generous & caring to her. Best to all your family.
I don't think someone with PTSD should go to a memorial like this because it sure isn't going to make them any better. Thanks for the depressing video, time for me to guzzle some more anti-depressants.
I support our troops, my nephew is in the Marines and was over in Iraq for 8 months. He was almost killed by a suiside boomer. He's at home now and only has a few more months in the service. I'm sorry to see this and understand what she was saying that it's not about our country, or our freedom...but I think it about trying to help others become what we are. And have the freedom that we do. I hate what happened to her, and know a lot of our service men and women suffer from things like PTSD.
I've watched Chun's works "skipping in camp casey",and "this is what democracy looks like". I cried through this one worse than the others. When will we ever learn? When will we ever learn?

Ya, this war is bullshit and is a testament to corruption in our government. Even today , it is not clear the real reason why we invaded. . .
