as a fan of the films Iv gotta say its amazing the 3 original films are perfect soooooo amazing this music brings the magic alive as well , sadly the new films issued make me feel sick :( i dont collect them or like them however i collect the original trilogy
@227060 I bet there were studies and/or early versions of the cover that had an actual star wars theme - I wonder if they could still be found today? Plus even if they can't be, or there weren;t any, maybe some fan artist from deviantart or somewhere could step up and make one. I know I'd love to see Leia and Han (or Luke if you want to be pervy) in those poses with an exploding Death Star behind them in the sky :)
Im diggin the old school space suit designs even tho NO ONE in Star Wars past or present has EVER worn anything even remotly like them. but its about the essence of sci-fi and sapce, which was perceived differently back in 77 than it is now. funnily enough our concept of space and sci-fi basically boils down to Star Wars or ideas which have been influenced by Star Wars bcos it is that important to Western popular conciousness
@227060 they probably couldn't make anything starwars related since this isn't really anything official so they didn't have the rights for the starwars costumes etc...
@bongmail yes but, HOW many Star Wars rip offs have there been over the years? How many 'laser swords' have u seen which are really Lightsabres which ppl are too scared to admit to? Honestly the number of SW parodies might as well mean the orignal film was in the public domain
I Have the extended version, but the problem is that I can upload just 15 min, the entire track is 15:38 aprox. Someday maybe I could upload the complete song.
Greetings; This album is a very classic specially to many star wars fans, I believe that Meco Monardo captures the escense of "Star Wars" and give us a great music with all the elements of disco dance. When this CD was edited in 1999 I just Buy it.
Excellent music and effects. Some parts evoke space infinity and here and there the R2d2 calls. The music softness and melody talks about high technology and some fun mixed with hope. Well actually probably melody talks about more about those years, and the sounds of the crazy aliens band, music is music and a party it is a party wherever in the Universe.
may the funk be with you
