Some people say that Efren was the best 3 cushion player in the Philippines but there was no money in the game and he returned to playing pool because of that. I heard it was his favorite game. I won't doubt that for a guy who loves chess.

In the first rack, Blomdahl makes SO many positional mistakes, on almost every ball, but has NO problem getting the job done, crazy. If commentators saw Efren play the first rack that way, they would say he was playing terrible!

I would say that Blomdahl is a good 9 ball player, but anyone who knows the game will say that anyone can be beaten but how many years can you be consitantly at the top of you game, If Blomdalh can survive as many years as Efren at the top then maybe he could be considered a great 9 ball player.

Blomdahl is know all over the european continent and asia. A living legend who's main game is 3 cushion and not 9 ball. Who ever thinks this guy got lucky cause no one ever heard of him is sadly mistaken. If them two played agin I would put my money on Blomdahl
