Thanks for posting this video of how bad it is here in Oregon. I lost my job at MSI because of NAAFTA when they left town and relocated for lower wages. Because of this and me using a walker NO ONE will hire me. Employers here play games and call you and never return your phone calls. Thank God for fighting for our rights and standing up for us people that these meployers have forgot and are treating like dirt for something we did not even do at all. I am tired of the bull crap in employment.
Thank God for this organization fighting for the rights of the unemployed and call centers being able to relocate elsewhere for lower wages. It happened to me yet MSI did not make me qualify for Trade Act benefits due to a technicality. Because MSI laid me off my mother and friends are having to work 70 hours a week to help support me and I cannot get another job because people never call you or call you back. My friends and family cannot help me any more yet agencies do not care and blame you.

MSI laid me and 200 others off and moved the jobs to an area where they got people for $6.00 an hour and it was legal. Our governement is getting a kickback for doing this otherwise they would not do it. I have been looking for work every day and have noticed these jobs are not coming back to Oregon at all. Now they want workers in call centers to work for nothing. I found this out.
I have sent most of my US politicians over to India. They are pretty much worthless and I would rather have the Indians listening to their constant blathering, (it was giving me a migraine). They can leave their bloated salaries and pensions over here though.
I worked for a call center that closed last August of 2009 laying off 190 of us and moved to an area for much lower wages. But because of some stupid technicality the company MSI did not qualify for trade act benefits with the unemployment department. Tons of call centers have closed here leaving millions of us out of ork. I was in a car wreck in 2006 totally blowing out my knees and now no one will hire me due to my disability. Things are really BAD in Oregon. NAAFTA needs to be repealed now.

I remember reading a couple years ago about how this paper mill / recycling is hampered by the fact because of all the "empty containers" that are all going back to China can be filled with re-cycled paper (taking away jobs here.) The containers come to the US (by boat) from China filled with (oversea) corporations goods that are made in China w/cheap labor.
@zebra334... What I see is happening is that those containers that need to "go back" to China (for more cheap labor goods) ... are NOW taking the paper recycle that has been going to go to this mill. More Job losses everytime we turn around.
