I never was a fan of racing in 2001 so i never watched this race but I can imagine the feeling my dad got right when Earnhardt crashed. But I remember watching the IndyCar race at Las Vegas when Dan Wheldon crashed. And the feeling I got when he crashed at Vegas made my heart drop. I was in a depressing state for over an hour. I never witnessed a fatal crash live so i was not ready for that. R.I.P to BOTH!

I see a few laughable comments below. A: Earnhardt and Sterling did get together. B: Earnhardt did get hit by Schrader. If you say sterling didn't touch him you're obviously blind or stupid.
