If anything, the hit-markers should be worse. The sniper rifles are overpowered enough as it is. Scratch that, they SHOULD be worse. I miss the days when Juggernaut was available.

You have to understand, a smart sniper wouldn't come to his opponent. A sniper simply lays down, POW. Instant kill. The fact that it's so easy to scope and not even have to aim at the opponent accurately to get a cheap kill is bad enough. BUT to let it shoot through walls and STILL get an instant kill? Then allow it to have a chance at close quarters combat too with quickscoping? AND THEN give its heartbeat sensor more range than any other gun so it's even easier? Simply cheap.

Getting hit-markers through a wall? Pretty rare, but the rate of a sniper rifler quickscoping... it doesn't really matter. I mean, I could see a sniper, and take cover. That SHOULD make me safe, but instead he's able to get me, even through my cover?? UMP's can shoot through walls too, but so what? After being shot once through the wall you at least have the chance to run away, excluding the fact that it isn't even that accurate at long range. I don't snipe, because I like to play

...Play fair, I just hate the fact that a sniper can be used however you wish, despite the fact that you have an over-powering secondary too. You've got no way to lose, honestly. You can play however you choose. But you can't say that with a UMP. You can't just lay there and shoot somebody at a long distance. Running super speed doesn't really change much, lol. Just the fact that you'll 'want' to run around and get yourself in the open. Just, yeah... honestly. In my opinion, they're cheap.

It is still cheap. It's like saying "Hey, you can be god in MW2. ONLY if you know how to be." You can play any game you choose with a sniper rifle. Close-range long-range mid-range, and still be able to kill somebody easily. Just because something takes skill to use, it doesn't mean it can't be cheap. The UMP does do a lot of damage and I wasn't saying it was fair either, in-fact there's a lot of unbalanced stuff in MW2. But to say a sniper, one of the worst is fair... is wrong.

That 2 - 3 is all down to skill. You're right, they do take skill. BUT does that make them fair? No, it doesn't. The sniper kills instantly 80% of the time if you aim correctly, and the fact that it does it through walls too makes it even worse. There's no escape from a sniper in MW2, yet there is with other weapons at a long distance. Quickscoping is basically like pointing at someone and saying "BAM!". It is far from fair.

I understand the game is for fun, but to call a sniper rifle fair (on MW2) is incredibly wrong. There is no disadvantage or having a sniper rifle. Not one. It's good at all ranges and offers a one shot kill even from hitting the opponent's foot. It's fun for the sniper, but for the opponent getting shot in the foot? Hell no.
