@danimal97520 So true man. The song 'Chinese Democracy' is good. But the album, all together is 50/50. There are fourteen songs on the album and only a few of them are good. There are some boring and shit songs, like 'Catcher in the Rye'. But all together the album is no where near a masterpiece.

The best for me out of the rest is Street of Dreams and that sounds like a very poor attempt at a new "Estranged". 3 real good songs, and 11 that I wouldn't miss if I never heard them again. Shame really. But that's what happens when you eliminate important pieces of the band like Izzy. The man co-wrote all of those fantastic songs we all love so much. 1st GNR album without him and....

@danimal97520 Sorry if u didnt know this but the main reason why bands break up is "artistic differences". Axl wanted a newer edgier faster album. while slash wouldnt leave his blues rock roots. Axl started the band with Izzy, but then izzy left so Axl can do what ever the fuck he wants with the Guns and Roses name. Who cares slash and duff never needed a stupid name, there doing just fine and brought the good part of GNR with them

Axl on the other hand didn't run them off (or any of the rest of the guys) due to artistic differences. It is well documented that he ran them off due to wanting control of the Guns name. His ego ran them off (and a ton of guys since). Axl can do what he likes. Never said he couldn't. BUT, the new album IS an Axl solo album. As you pointed out, bands BREAK UP. GNR broke up. Axl is a solo artist

i personally think, the way i hear it (not universal fact, just my view) that he cant write a proper song or play guitar in service of music or the song, even if his life depended on it.
