hey man, i want to thank you so much. because of my fear of death, and finding your video and website, not only did it completely get rid of my fear, but, you also "woke" me up to this reality and now after 2 months i feel better than i've ever felt. namaste :)
"I do not fear death, in view of the fact that I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it." - Mark Twain
Will definitely have to watch this again and ponder the ideas in it... This is the closest I've felt to overcoming the fear. You've presented some thoughtful ideas that make sense to me...
Astral projection is a VERY difficult idea for me to process or really believe in... I do want to open my mind. If I "slipped" into it somehow, maybe I could really understand it, even though I can't seem to put "faith" into it... On the other hand, the other things you talked about helped a lot. If I can accept this as an illusion... then there is no "real" loss... Also the polarity concept really turned my perspective. I'm still scared but this is proving to be a starting point to help myself.
I googled "constantly fearing death" and your video was on WikiHow...I looked at a message board of "astral projection experiences" and many of them were indistinguishable from lucid dreams. I don't see how it couldn't still just be a trick of the mind.
I can't seem to rap my head around these concepts...no matter how hard I try to occupy my mind that fear is always there. I'm sorry to any religious people but I feel that when I die everything will be over and there's nothing else left for me. Its not like I don't live my life and I am still very active with friends sports and school but whenever the thought of dieing comes to mind I begin to tremble and sometimes even black out. Please comment if you have any way to help
@MrNickel12 I know how you feel. Just know that your not the only one. Just know that the past is the past. The future is a mystery. Live for the moment. We all die one day. But not right now. Were alive and will be for a really really long time. Take risks. Stand up for yourself and never let anyone define you or label you. Never back down. Set goals for yourself and work for them. We should never fear death. We should fear not living life to the fullest.
@MrNickel12 THis is for you and everyone that is scared of dying look up the video "reality is an illusion". Qunatum physics has basically dwelled so far into matter that they have realized EVERYTHING in life is connected. And that the world is nothing without a conscious observer to create reality.
i have a bit of a problem with death right now,it pops into my head that one day i will die,one day i will not be conscious, one day this world i live in,will not exist to me anymore, for i will be gone forever,or are any religions right? i have a HUGE problem with it cause what if hell is real, and i did'nt follow god,i geuss you can say im one of those people who need to see it to believe it haha but i need help,i wanna live my life without having to worry about death,im sick of it..
@hero1137 i feel your pain. i used to suffer badly with this, not fear of the process of death, but fear of not being anymore/ no awerness. i got over this by studying the universe, physics, phylosophy. sounds silly but you end up becoming that fascinated by all that is, that you have less time to worry about what is'nt. give it a try, hope it helps. steven
@dawkinsian1 for me i fear the same thing you do losing cousciousness but also what happens when you die. i know science states energy doesn't die no matter how long it's been however is there a way to know that the energy is you or something passed on by you and will you be conscious if it is you. the phenomenon and ghosts/spirits are two separate things. but suppose both exist then there is a few questions science must answer. how does one see, hear and think without the physical.
@ultradumbass To be honest there is no physical world. Quantum physics is coming t realize what shamans and monks have known for decades. When you touch a chair it is solid right? But really all a chair is, is millions of little particles attached by energy. You never actually touch the chair, the magnetic field pushes your hand a way. We can go even further to say in side each atom of the chair there is 99% nothingness and the rest is electrons and such which is energy so
@TheTheKRIT for me i am mainly concerned whether or not consciousness can survive. to me i am not afraid of dying, i am afraid of losing consciousness and never interacting with anyone again. do you have an explanation for how consciousness can survive death?
@ultradumbass Well I know alot of people have used this one but energy be created or distoryed. In reality all everything is, is billions of vibrating particles that are made of atoms that are 99% nothing and the rest energy. Meaning EVERYTHING your brain your thoughts your memeories your very consciousness is just energy and electrical. Watch the video life is an illusion it amy seem a little scary at first but its very reasuring. Also the reason you and i and everyone has been
@TheTheKRIT has been taught that we are machines is simple because machines arent worth anything they arent innerconnected there just machines. The world is run by corruption and its true. In reality we are all conencted and we are all just experiencing the same thing differently.
@TheTheKRIT so if a chair is really just 99% nothing that means our brain is creating it. You create your reality, if you believe like the rest of society that you are simply just a machine made of chance then that is how youll live. Youll live in a world that doesn't talk about the fact that NOBODY knows what the hell is going on. Did you get told in egypt there is a POSSIBILITY the egyptians didnt build the pyramids? no, because we live in a wolrd that feels the need to know
@TheTheKRIT EVERYTHING. in reality we know nothing, we literally dwelled so deep into matter that we've realized that matter is made in our heads. Yet know one wants to tell you this, because we live in a materialistic world. if you take all the empty space out of matter and mash it together do you know how big the universe would be? THE SIZE OF A PEA! RAP YOUR HEAD AROUND THAT!! There is no need to fear death because life is wonderful. Death isnt the end of life. ITS APART OF LIFE.
Consciousness of the personality indeed comes to an end, I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. However, this pure spark of awareness, the part of you that is simply "here" does not die. This doesn't even belong to YOU. Our everyday earth body awareness is simply a reference point that we have all taken for granted as being the "real". This is ultimately, an illusion.
@TylerJHardy you seem to know a few things on this. i saw your video on wikihow. do you have any answers on how the spirit remains conscious ie. thinks, remembers, sees, hears, senses etc. science has proven energy is never destroyed but they haven't in my opinion convinced me that the energy is actually suppose to be you. and how would the out of body experience work? if i die and my eyes decompose how am i still going to be able to see things?
@ultradumbass Let me ask you this if atoms are comprised of 99% nothing then our universe is comprised of 99% nothing, including our brain. Which means we are creating something out of nothing. Your eyes do not see you do not touch and do not smell. These are all chemical and electrical reactions in your brain, which in the end is created out of atoms which is created of 99% nothing. There is no such thing as nothing you see because nothing is everything we live in.
i agree..there is no such thing as death. but, i feel that there is an end of individual consciousness..when our brains die, our personalities don't live on..we transform. but, part of that transformation is losing consciousness.
you have a lot of wisdom and you seem very educated/intelligent. things i didn't know im just learning about now thanks to your videos. keep em coming man i appreciate your knowledge that your sharing!

@MrNickel12
Sorry man, but hate to say it, I don't think anyone can help with one's fear of death.
No one knows what death is like and no one can predict when it will happen.
The only thing we know is that it's inevitable.
Just try not to dwell on it I guess.
