  • Would you know how well it games?

  • is it worth to buy if my CPU doesnt have any ps2 plugs? i'm looking into the blackwidow ultimate and this. any opinions?

  • @youareadumbass19 if you don't mind not having NKRO, then why not? Blackwidow supports up to 6-key rollover only if i'm not mistaken, and that the blue switches of blackwidow may not be best for gaming imho, but hey, that's just me. :)

  • @Lvinc87 Wrong, the BWU has full key rollover

  • @jsquad192837465 Wrong, it doesnt. Its 6 key only, not that it makes much difference in the real world tho.

  • @Q3ToPBuZz No. thats is only with USB connection. Use PS/2 and thats is no problem. Besides PS/2 is a better way to connect keyboards as it has no pool refresh like USB, PS/2 is has an direct input.

  • @MissMan666 hmmm,...read it again, I was answering somebody about the Black Widow. I own a 7G so I know all about its spec.

  • @Q3ToPBuZz ok sry :) I now own the g7 aswell, great keyboard so far, but it takes sometime getting used to, make alot of errors so far.

  • @MissMan666 Yeah, the small Back Space is novel.I dont know if you've used Cherry Blacks much in the past but I personally found they took a while to master. When I first started using them I think I was just hitting the keys to hard.I've got used to applying the correct amount of pressure now and my typing has almost become silent.

  • that is true for BWU.

  • Eargasmic clicks.

  • We are certainly very bored because we are watching someone typing .

  • at the end he passed out from typing so fast

  • it isnt a beauty but is it good for gaming? i care more about performance than look.

  • no Fry's in Anaheim... i love the keyboard but the keys pop out some times when i type on it :( i guess im too fast and furious haaaa. no but for real i got the Kensington Slimtype and it's the best damn keyboard i swear... scissor switch are less clunky and just more efficient... half the key depth.

dont get me wrong---- if you don't type like a crazy retard like me, and you want a really quality keyboard this keyboard is for you... i just didn't want to super-glue the keys to the switches lol

  • I Just Got The SS 7G And Its Still In The Box But I Am Already Shitting Myself Cuz Its So Awesome Okay. (I Got To Play With It A Little At Fry's Before I Purchased It And No Other Keyboard's Quality And Nice Feel Can Compare To It Okay.)

  • is this a good keyboard for typing? I like keyboards that have short keystrokes (less depth to push down) and that require medium to low strength to push down and big shift on left side with standard midium-big size enter button with big back button right on top of it.

  • @iam2korean Some find the Cherry Black switches to be too hard, I suggest you try your fingers on them first before deciding. Personally, I feel that the black keys to be perfect ( I find the Blue switches to be too "soft" xD)

  • I just LOVE that keyboard sound! I can't get enough of it! That's why I'm gonna get this keyboard for x-mas!

  • I actually like the sounds of the Cherry MX Blacks when typing, but having tried one myself, I agree with some of the other commenters. Too much resistance on the keys. I don't mind the linear throw so much, and it feels great for gaming, but I guess I'm more used to the Blue switches now that my fingers get tired too quickly when typing on Blacks. Nice keyboard, but not really my cup of tea.

  • @SombreSeraph You seriously should move more away from your computer if you haven't got anough strength to press these keys :)

  • @SombreSeraph It won't you'll love it...

  • Thanks for an actually useful video. I wanted to hear what the keys sounded like.

  • reelaxingg(:

  • nice keyboard , raising money for a quality keyboard :D

  • It's nice to see that no one uses that stupid hand rest. :)

  • look @ him go...

  • Hi there dogman, Have you personally tried on the keyboard? If not I say you're just being ignorant.

Basically mechanical keyboards are more expensive than membrane keyboard as each 102/105 keys have their own switches.

Do your research before saying anything stupid.

    Have a nice day. :)

  • I second that notion, times a million. I own several mechanical keyboards (mostly Model Ms and a couple das keybards) and nothing beats the feel and typing comfort of these. i could care less about extra gimmicks and unneeded features.

I haven't tried this one, but I do have the das keyboard, Model S, which I think uses a similar switch (Cherry MX Blue, with the clicks). Does the 7G have a tactile feel?

  • @AIM9XSW Nope. The 7G uses Cherry MX Black switches, non-tactile, non-clicky, the non-tactile feel might put some people off though (typing wise).

  • @Lvinc87 Really? the 7g has Cherry MX Black switches? I thought that in their website it says that hey have some speacial switch that is gold plated AND is 50% shorter keystroke to press!! So is that just the Cherry MX Black Switches?

    Thank you

  • @dalesalsa You do understand the fact that Cherry MX switches ARE gold-plated? and mechanical switches have shorter keystroke than a rubber dome ones. Hope that helps. ;-)

  • @Lvinc8 oh ok.. cool.... I would just have to try them in person.. Do they have some kind of 30 day money back guarantee kind of trial..? That would be cool. I am in between this one and one running Cherry MX Blue switches. Also I dont like the very small backspace key on these keyboards... that sucks... the 6gV2 has the proper backspace key but not ps/2 or wrist rest... :-/

  • @dodgydogman

You like typing on crap? your basic keyboard that comes with your computer is at least 30-40. Don't be stupid.

  • @dodgydogman two words:

    Fucking Idiot

  • @dodgydogman You can search for the price but not why its so expensive?

    One Word: Dumbass!

    @Lvinc87: Your Nail-color don't fit to the Keyboard. :P

  • thanks a lot man}{ you're the best!. it was a pleasure to comunicate with u! have a nice day! Peace!

  • nice vid man.thx. but tell me how does the "ctrl" key work when you're doing duck jumping or crouching in cs or other games? is it easy to press? i would apreciate that a lot. thanks!

  • When I play fps, I press the "ctrl" key with the tip of my pinky finger, with the keyboard tilted to the right along the WASD keys and I never come across any difficulty in pressing the "ctrl" key.

In fact it's easier and more comfortable, as the keys are very responsive and you can really feel that you're pressing down the key, unlike other keyboards. (laptop types are the most annoying)

Btw, thanks for the comments. :D

  • Best keyboard on the market ATM. Games that do need macros have built-in macro systems and remapping with registry is always the best option if you need to change button locations badly.

  • this keyboard just look like an old old keyboard.

  • Yeah it does look like a very typical keyboard, as it is a keyboard that does not bother with all the bells and whistles typically found in other keyboards.

  • @Terrna5k ....And?

  • Yes I do recommend this keyboard, do keep in mind that this keyboard does not have any macro capability though.

  • do you recommed this keyboard?
