Oh man I have been looking for this forever! I used to own the english dubbed version. I even remember part of the chorus "Aesop! He'll do it everytime! Somthing somthing somthing..."

The English dub was by the same group that dubbed TOEI's THE WILD SWANS, TWELVE MONTHS, THUMBELINA, all featuring the voices of Corrine Orr and Earl Hammond (the voice of Jaga/Mumm-Ra/Vultureman from THUNDERCATS).

The characters in AESOP'S FABLES were designed by the same character designer of MAPLE TOWN, or so I heard . . .
