they eat dog which is not pet. grown ouside like pig, cow and hens. traditionally korean ate more vegitable less meat and they gave dog the leftover almost no meat to dog because meat was important kinda precious.

actually traditional dog was ironically herbivore. no difference with pig, cow and chicken. i eat dog no criticism allowed very upset

@16ritzy: I have never been to Korea, but I do know that selling dog meat as been outlawed in Korea since the '80s. Obviously, illegal merchandising persists in every corner of the world, so the traffic of dog meat commerce most likely still occurs, among other unspeakable things such as the consumption of fetuses (Google "snopes fetus soup disturbing images"). I don't believe these are considered "traditional" Korean cuisine, however.

Believe it or not, Koreans are capable of keeping dogs and cats as pets without the overwhelming urge to eat them. A lot of Koreans look down on the consumption of cats and dogs. I'm not a vegetarian or anything, but I do believe that there is a HUGE issue about life feeding off of life, and yes, that includes the consumption of plants just as much as the consumption of flesh, as plants are alive as well...
