This is probably a venture-capital scam - they're hoping to get investors to fall for their bogus "technology". Either that or they are actually morons.
This craft seems to be commercial enough to be further developped of its strategic mobility. I think for example of logistics, or also ocean liners of the future!!

I there exists at least to us naval craft that I know of that employ this type of hull technology in the pacific fleet, they are larger vessals granted but the propulsion and hulls are more than comparable, both craft are operating in the work up and sea trail phase, and more craft are scheduled for production.
