WTF has this lot got to do with 2012, let 2012 pass then make you're remarks, instead of assuming and suggesting. people are so very good at defining prophecies before they have become fulfilled. leave the prophecies as they are and wait to see what occurs, its the only way to know prophecies in truth
My dog can't build a skyscraper or make a bowl of chili. We may have primitive instinct but we are also the only ones with cognitive thinking. We evolved, animals didn't. Why?
Well Darryl, I am still facinated by you. Christianity will die a natural death as more and more spiritual truth is revealed and scientifically proven. Every man will call him God when we know the real truth....lol instead of the religous lies we have been told.
@nacunma christ was spiritual, buddha was, krishna and quetzalcoatl, religious beliefs will only gather pace after the gods return, and they are already in my life and soul, soon theyll be with you too, and everyone else
Perhaps on that date, every soul in the mundane/physical plane of existence will be harvested simultaneously and permanently. The reincarnation of Christ (in the form of THE God) will remain in this plane as the only living soul in this plane of existence. He will have infinite power, with none of the psychological burdens of paradoxical invisibility. He will be under no burden to safeguard no one. He will be free to set the foundation of an uncorrupted culture, devoid of insanity & karma.
I have a strong suspicion that on 12/21/12, this may be the exact date where the second coming of Christ will draw upon the entire mortality of mankind to achieve transcendence. This planet may have been terraformed specifically for just this one person to incarnate. The main flaw of the existence of God is the fact that the magic power of 'invisibility' is the most raw form of omnipotence. This harvest/ reincarnation cycle uses karma to break this flaw.
loveing the first 10 seconds '' i have not done any research on the mayan calendar but'' hahah but what? in wich chase mate don't past a video trying to disprove it HAHAHA honestly people today...
@oliver556 Laugh all you like. I will bet you 500 dollars that there will be no global spiritual awakening on or immediately after 21 December 2012. This is not a joke. I'm ready to put money on the table. Let's see how much you REALLY believe it ... or STFU.
ok, you said that if we had no desire, then we would have nothing to do, but why not just do something because you can, i mean, i do stuff because i think it will be fun, which is a desire. But what if we were to do something because we can? We don't have to enjoy it, but just think about it...im not saying that im right, but ponder the idea
Well I had to force your hand to where you stand?...picking your brain sort-to-speak;
Besides I like your Zombie Genocide series - starting to watch them - did you script & direct them?
Religion is a form of controls that is obscuring the truth - have you thought to combined these faiths of their base that it is of a greater truth not the complete truth...
You are more than the physical being that you are - all of us; all life...to think that Earth & mankind is all there is in the universe?
@KalanYore "The Infinite" is the source of the finite (you and me). There is nothing but the Infinite, a timeless essence that encapsulates all. So, everything is one, under the surface. But in the realm of time & form, life must play itself out dualistically, through isolate self-consciousness. That's a sort of crystallisation of where I stand.
Now I see that you do get it...well most of it; space & time or time & space as it is called rather than time & form...are you also aware of the Universal Laws?
Yes we are all ONE - w/ Source or what is also known as Prime Creator - that is humanized by the wording use of "God"...however Source is not a God of prayer.
Einstein had a better representation to what God is...that is agreeing to me.
We all do have our unique purpose in duality - like you said we have to wait & see.
So why at age 17 you became a Christian? & after that you again searching after some 20 yrs of unhappy life...still unfulfilled and empty...
Then you came to your conculsion? or maybe influenced by other Atheists?
Next you post trolling to bash people's faiths for what? Are you trying to "save" other people the grief that you had suffered!?! Are you a Guru presenting your savior package to everyone as of others whom are the minority.
@KalanYore I'm just an individualist encouraging individualism, and pointing out all the fearmongering and emotional blackmail, and herd mentality that Christianity is known for. What exactly are you objecting to?
Looks like you went searching for God yourself & you were extremely disatisfied w/ your life & again searching of other faiths w/ the same results - you are so empty.
Atheism is a form of religion that has a "belief" that there is no God etc. yet they condemning all beliefs in which they have their own belief system and rely on founded science of the "Big Bang Theory" then life began on it's own w/o explaining exactly how? that took billions of years and there is nothingness after you die.
You talk of "beliefs" but not of "experiences" that cannot be explained or have science to prove otherwise?
Who were you before you now or ever was? Can you even answer that?
Animals, plants, the Earth itself is alive as everyone of source energy from where we all come from - the universe(s) is filled with life.
There is no sin to speak of - Jesus did not come to die for our sins but to teach mankind to be more spiritual beings like the ETs are such beings of Light.
Explain the people uprising that is more so than anytime in human history - media has not really changed to covering more stories or events and or the technology of having cell phones that can record video & photos to be uploaded onto the internet and/or world media.
Series of events are happening not only now but for some time - examples; the Earth's magnetic field is weakening because of a slower rotation, global warming is occuring on all planets in our system & the shifting of the poles.
The mass after mass animal die offs more so than anytime in history that so-called spokespersons that will not or can not explain?
Other foreign governments have been releasing documentations on UFOs and the presence of Extraterrestrials and asking the United States to release all information.
To say that we all follow some idea, religions, other people, and/or researching than our own selves is beyond what you do not understand.
You talk about duality and you still not believe?
darryl, check out on youtube the lecture "intervention theory by lloyd pye". he gives many compelling arguments and evidence why evolution is wrong and does not explain human existence on earth, and also why we are not part of the natural evolution of this planet. if lloyd pye is right, then we may not be animals, but a hybrid of animals and something else. there is genetic evidence for this. you should look into it. it's very interesting.
@GlobalDating My view of evolution is not quite the same as Darwin's Natural Selection. I see consciousness as intimately involved in the process. I could be wrong, of course. But you're right to point that evolution is not a perfect theory, as it is expressed in science currently, but it does appear to be observable in nature, by whatever mysterious means it advances.
hi darryl. interesting video. a few points: first, why would you say that everything is fine the way it is now? evil tends to be in power, since the nature of power attracts evil, and evil people at the top usually get away with all their crimes, while good innocent people suffer and are victimized. how can that be fine? second, there are many problems with the theory of evolution. have you looked into them? if evolution is wrong then maybe we aren't animals after all? we seem to be a hybrid?
@GlobalDating It's a matter of context. The bottom line of what I'm saying about everything being "fine" is that conflict and struggle are a natural part of life, not a problem to be eradicated by a mythical ideal. There is no spiritual paradise after 2012, or at any other time. That's against the very nature of energy itself.
Hey Darryl, excelent videos, I really enjoy them. Having seen a few I notice a paradox that I think is fair to point out: Your claim to reason and secular thought is thwarted by the topics you discuss which span a broad range of fairy-tales (2012, PK, Magick, David Icke = Reptilians). We share similar views in many ways, so don't take offense.
2012 is a Pachikuti, which means an overturniong of space time, the end of a world age. It's just a calendar. NOT a catastrophe. I worked on a TV prog 10 yrs ago on the Incas and the synchronicity of their prophecy and the arrival of the Spanish which made them take them for Gods and get Massacred. It was sad.
In 2012 the pre columbian calendar turns over to the next world age, the next age of the sun. Nothing will happen. Sod all.
I would be not only foolish but naive if I followed this blindly but it ties in too perfectly with absolutely everything that is going on today, from science to economics to social structures and it is all about to break up, and to my own life where things happen on a daily basis that is very related to what is going on in the world. It is the basic pattern of evolution, it moves in cycles and when a species need for survival is immense then evolution occur. Its natures love for life, enjoy!
"2012" is the year when the Mayans say our world "end" and a new world will be reborn. Obviously the Earth will not explode and a new one created out of nothing since the Mayans live to tell from last time it happened, if you believe them. Dec 21 2012 is just when the calendar reset however, "The End of Time" stretches from oct 2007 to oct 2014 and The Great Shift can happen anytime within those 7 years, according to the Mayans.
human beings are only 200,000 years old. no evidence of humans exists before that. daryl, check out the film "expelled: no intelligence allowed" on youtube. the evolutionists can't answer too many questions.
I think the 2012 hysteria stems from the fact that our sun is going through an intense solar flare cycle that may or may not have an impact on earth due to an EMP pulse. Whether this happens at all is still up for debate and we'll just have to wait and see. I firmly don't believe it will be end of the world. Maybe the Mayan's just got tired of writing and stopped on that date, who knows.
I want something good to happen, I think there's something to be said for group belief or the power of belief when it's used constructively, sometimes seeing is believing, sometimes believing is seeing. Most likely nothing of significance will happen due to this group belief, in which case a realist would see this as it is. I like this idea that a sense of lacking of needing something is universal, it's easy to forget such things when they are right in front of us our whole lives.
I have observed a general trend in evolution of thought I have seen people progress in their assessments on life and what their consciousness can attain. I generally believe if this date is significant that it may only be a marker to signify a time in human progression that marks perhaps a collective leap in consciousness and understanding of our potential.
Part 2: I pose the statement that it is equally perfect trying to better yourself and looking for some change, betterment or otherwise. Because if we don't try to change ourselves then we will never really know if we can.
And you go on to say that we are exactly as we are meant to be, wouldn't this include the part of the person looking for perfection? But, like I said, I agree that we are already perfect. But most don't agree.
Part 1: Ohh I love questions! I agree with you on quite many of the things, at least to a degree. I agree that 21st of December 2012 as a date means about as much as any other. However I do think that we are already within a spiritual elevation (I'm basing this on the fact that I see a lot more people considering the possibility of something spiritual). And I agree that we are perfect as we are and true, there is nothing that says that we have to change that. Except for ourselves.
Did you see my video response? I thought it was funny so I decided to post it. After having discussions with friends I have decided that both world views(humans are animals/humans are not animals) have validity. I believe you have very rational points and you argue out things well. I do not have a PHD, just desire. It would be better to have a discussion I think, I just look uncomfortable on camera.
@kombuchaempire Didn't see your video response? Personally, I'm sold on the view that we're animals and that there's nothing wrong with us as a species that needs fixed. I don't see how both can be true. In fact, this issue is a pivotal matter to decide, because how you answer it determines a massive part of your outlook on life and spirituality.
@darrylsloan Well, logically they can't be both true. I think a life as a steward of the world can have merit though. Or, to not think of yourself as having more worth than any other animal. I wish I had two wormholes, two infinite full spectrum telescopes, and the life span to watch the evolution or creation take place on both sides of the planet. It is a device that would allow me to really know. I think you have been freed from burdens that humanity has developed religiously, to your credit.
@darrylsloan No other creature has ever devastated the earth like humans. Nor has the potential too change that downward spiral and/or turn it around. Look at the BP oil leak. the animals that are affected have no way of stopping such a mishap. I think BP could have stopped the problem by now too. I think there is an important freedom you have attained in your current philosophy as well. To value human desires as natural. To value desires as motivation. Freedom to be all of yourself.
By the way, Darryl, have you seen David Wilcock's 2012 Enigma yet? Check it out! I just watched it, and I think it's awesome. Pretty much everything he says seems very logical, at least in some level. He does explain everything quite clearly. There is other, longer, versions too, but I bet you'll find them too. So if you got 90 minutes to spare, check it out! :)
Let me offer another perspective on that "lack of something". Ask this: Are you living in a loving society, and ultimately in a world where you would think we would live if life had any kind of meaning? If one awareness is the only truth (if you believe that) then reality is all possibility. It has to be. As long as we don't love each others (and ourselves) unconditionally we do lack something. Well, I can only speak for myself but my biggest lack is a loving society. We got all hate, fear.
So where I'm getting at: This reality has to change at some point. Because if life has a meaning which I believe it indeed has, this can't continue forever, because truth is always a truth and is heavier than any number of lies. I do believe in spiritual awakening, simply because I've noticed I live in a CLOSE MINDED, hating, fearful society. I dunno if it's 2012 or not. Jesus and John Lennon spoke for love and they were both killed. So yeah.. we do kinda lack an awakening.
Here's the teaching I go by Jesus said to his apostles go and build my church ...etc etc.....He didnt say churches. I think the problems with religion stem from their being so fucking many religions. I have been researching and still am but Traditional Roman Catholicism "Sede Vacantist" is the only one true faith that dates back to the time of Christ and his apostles. The meaning of life is to get to God. I am attached to sin more than God at the moment if I died I don't know where I would go.
@brazierdaddy "If I died I don't know where I would go." That's a horrible way to live. Personally, I would encourage you to look deeply about the veracity of your religion, because that is a weight hanging around your neck that you don't need. I was glad to get rid of mine.
At the end of the day, what IS possible is constrained by the prejudices and rigid views we hold of how we define humanity through our prism. If you want to see a scam or apocalypse, it's basically because you're taking one extreme or another rather than being neutral. 2012 or no, that will always be the struggle for humanity to view itself for the good and the bad, not just one or the other. As Carl Jung pointed out, we all have good n bad within and repression of that results in bad things.
Universal consciousness is simultaneously simple (all is one, that's it) and complex (all of reality is connected and no event is without repercussions). That's the whole point of duality. Truth is simple, because it is complete, and complex, because it includes everything.
@bozz43 I've a feeling that Bible verse is quoted totally out of context. Isn't it about rebellion against God and his laws, rather than about man's relationship to truth? Of course, the Bible is so big you can make it say anything by picking and choosing.
@bozz43 Absolutes are fine - and quite real. The key question is: how does a limited mind recognise an absolute when its very limitation of knowledge means that it can never be sure what effect unknown knowledge will have on "known" knowledge. We have an "intermediate" relationship to truth, and that's why we should know better that to be dogmatists who absolutely know.
@darrylsloan You've obviously closed your mind on this because of the prejudice you have against religions and the hysteria that has sprung up because of this date. There is an objective, non-religious non-fanatical approach to looking at 2012 with scientific and metaphysical analysis, but you would have to open up your mind and not be a bitter, cynical adult who thinks they've seen it all and everything is a scam because they've been lied to their whole lives. Most adults are in that category.
@GreenJuliusVita "You've obviously closed your mind on this because of the prejudice you have against religion." How is it close-minded, when I backed up every single point I made with a rational argument? It's just convenient for you to use my religious background as a vehicle for an accusation of prejudice. If I'm prejudiced, how on earth did I ever escape the clutches of my past religion in the first place? Surely my pro-Christian prejudice would have held me like a vice.
@darrylsloan I agree with the gist of what you were saying, but there are many parts I disagree with you. I think that you have many rational points, but reason alone is just one side of the coin, and it is the side you over-emphasize. I see a lot of how you think in me, and at the same time I see what others say and see myself in it as well. My heart and mind and wide awake and open to all suggestions. That is from the humble place I'm coming from. I don't claim to know our true nature.
I DONT NO WHY WHITE PEOPLE GET SO HAPPY OVER 2012. THE ANCIENT MYANS WERE BLACK PEOPLE RIGHT. IN U WHITE PEOPLE ARE THE SAME RACE OF PEOPLE THAT PUT BLACKS IN SLAVERY. IN STOLE AMERICA FROM THE INDIANS, AND DAM NEAR EXTINCTED THE INDIAN RACE. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT DO U THINK YOUR GETTING OUT OF THIS 2012 THING. IM MEAN HONESTLY!!!! IF THERE WAS ALIENS, IM 100% POSITIVE THAT THEY ARE BLACKS. I HAVE PROOF TO BACK THAT UP!!! SO WHAT ARE U WHITE PEOPLE LOOKIN FORWARD TO IN 2012. MESSAGE PLEASE
IM NOT RACIST AT ALL MY FRIEND. IM SAYING IF ANY TYPE OF SPIRITUAL AWAKENING WOULD HAPPEN ON 2012. I WOULD PREPARE AND PRAY TO THE HEAVENLY FARTHER IN ASK HIM FOR FORGIVENESS, OF WHAT YOUR PEOPLE HAVE DONE TO PEOPLE OF THIS EARTH. THATS NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM RACIST. A RACIST IS SOMEONE WHO KIDNAP A PEOPLE OUT OF THERE ORIGINAL LAND, AND IN SLAVE THEM. AND GIVE THEM A NAME SUCH NIGGER, AND MAKE A RACE OR COLOR OF PEOPLE ALWAY BE AT THE BOTTOM OF CITIZINSHIP THAT A RACIST! GOD BLESS
Bashar, a channelled being, tells us that it is a tipping point from an unawakened state to a more awakened state. it's not a date to be "waiting for" because the changes that need to be tak'g place are already in motion. the mainstream though is taking advantage of it to fulfill their own agendas. there should be no expectations around it. changes are com'g gradually & continu'g even after that date. we should begin to sense that we are free & less controlled by our OWN perceptions.
@folly4444 Why would I take this Bashar seriously? Not wishing to offend, but I would level the same critical thinking at Bashar that I level at everything else.
@darrylsloan I'd recommend watching a few Bashar vids on youtube and then reconsider your viewpoint/critical thinking. Being critical/skeptical is great, but just keep an open mind/heart. And 2012? I don't believe anything will happen on that date/year, it's just the start of something new and the end of something old. Simples.
The (soul)ution everyone seeks is in the question itself. Mayan prophecy is truth. If you haven't delved into it, I invite you to read and learn. (Soul)ution=RebEARTH. Earth=Heart. Love and light to all!
I can understand your stance on this topic of 2012. As you have stated before in videos, there is only the present and we live in the NOW. Passage of time is basically an illusion building on top of itself in one moment. So, 12/21/12 will just be date determined by humans. It is one moment, only moment that exists so there is no reason to believe anything spiritually significant will occur. Sorry, it is kind of hard to put out this response in text. Anyway, I really like your videos.
Good points man, I agree that animals surviving in nature are more intelligent than us humans denying nature's ways.We may have intelligence with formulas, structures, science, etc but we have de-attached ourselves from the obvious intelligence of eating natural unprocessed foods, expanding consciousness, seeking inner truth, etc. I would trust the Mayan's prediction over any religious ideas.they seemed to be connected to higher consciousness for sure, but I don't buy the End of the World thing.
There is also a theory that this date is deliberately being hyped by the media to divert attention from our own government's plan to begin WWIII. I don't know enough about this theory to really form an opinion or even discuss it intelligibly but I'd like to know more.
From my research I have found that what is set to occur on 12/21/2012 is alignment of the 12 constellations of the zodiac with the galactic center. This is going to happen but what effect the event will have on human consciousness is unclear. Those with an esoteric nature understand our psychi's relationship with the stars and the moon may be blowing it out of proportion but they're getting their ideas from these facts. I like your message in this vid though so thanks.
@555orchid "alignment of the 12 constellations of the zodiac with the galactic cente." That doesn't make any sense to me. Constellations only possess their present form when viewed from the earth. They lose their meaning (and shape) as soon as you step off this planet, because each star in a constellation is many light years apart in three dimensional space.
@darrylsloan Exactly! This alignment will only be seen from earth. Sort of like an optical illusion. It will not be a literal alignment you know what I mean. That is why I don't put much stock in this belief. There are also many other astronomical events that are supposed to occur on the date but I have to research it more.
@555orchid Neil Degrasse Tyson explains and answers all of the questions surrounding 2012, and even answers the alignment. It happens every year on December 21, so isn't so special for 2012. Watch it here watch?v=-HghEBxHvgg&feature=player_embedded#!
selective/limited/subjective consciousness' by nature are unavoidably incomplete, and therefore unsolvable. to state an absolute solution to a chain of desires is imbalance/oversimplification/madness -
does not a conscious appreciation/satisfaction of completeness require contrast from a memory of incompleteness?
searching for satisfaction seems futile, and hedonism most profitable!
haha I had a similar thought about 2012ers entering psychosis too!
Mayan people say its a time period between 2010, and 2015. The media says its december 20 12, but the mayans never sia d this. Go ask a mayan, or a hopi, its a time period and we are officially in it. Here in the us, you can tell i assume with the tea party movement, people are standing up and its not just here its over in your continent in greece and hopefully more places, but i hope it'll be a more spiritual thing, but taking back your life is pretty awakening...
4... “hey kid, there’s nothing wrong with you as you are so stop learning to read” Do you see my point? Still I love watching your vids, always get me thinking. Had so much more to say but I think I’ll leave it there. I hope I came across ok over text. Nothing but respect for you Darryl.
@lookElike I think this is a small misunderstanding what I meat by "Stop looking." It's pretty clear that I'm as hungry as ever for new knowledge. I'm speaking against the tendency to grasp for a singular "Big Answer" that allows you to segregate yourself off from the populace and refer to yourself as "saved" or "enlightened." Ideas like 2012 causing a "consciousness shift" are in the same ball park.
We shift in consciousness all the time as individuals and as a collective. I have researched the Mayan calendar and my understanding is that it is more a map of consciousness than time. I believe they had a good understanding of how consciousness works or evolves. Like how you bake a cake you could say you predict you know when it will be raised properly and ready to eat after 45 mins in the oven. But this is due to your understanding of the process....
... I see all around me individuals raising their consciousness all the time. Maybe there will be a point when enough people have reached enlightenment (the realization that infinite consciousness is us and experience it rather than only mentally understanding it) like the 100th monkey effect, the collective may shift into that experiencing, who knows? :)
But ofcourse nothing will change because of a date. Things only change when we change them. Dont hang on to 2012 as some date that will magically make something happen. We make things happen.
3..., getting help from a French teacher will only get me to my understanding faster and easier.
You say there is nothing wrong with us and I totally agree but in that you are also saying everything is as it is meant to be so stop doing what you are doing “its wrong”. Do you realize what you are saying is that you have found the answer, believe me. I don’t think there is anything wrong with someone who can’t read but I wouldn’t say...
@lookElike "Do you realize what you are saying is that you have found the answer?" Heh-heh. I sort of see your point. The thing to note, however, is that in saying "There's nothing wrong with you just as you are," this is the only stance on enlightenment that doesn't segregate the human race. All other "Big Answers" invariably separate people into the haves and the have-nots.
@darrylsloan, yes I do see what you mean. An enlightened person, for want of a better word is no better or worse than anyone else. But when you meet someone who is realized to that degree they would know there is no seperation between you and them. To go a bit further there is no you or them. We are all one :) I've said quite enough. Until next time
2... The spiritual seeker is in search of finding the self (infinite consciousness). Which we couldn’t be anything other than but through many different conditionings, religion, parents, peers, tv (the list goes on) our minds are distracted from our natural state. The seeker seeks ways to re wire the mind back to the realization of what we already are and can be nothing else but. I have no problem with trusting some others for guidance. I believe if you want to learn French...
Ok we are just an animal, but we have the ability to be self aware. An animals level of consciousness is instinct. Our current level is intellect but we have the capacity to evolve our level of consciousness beyond the mind. The more we become aware we are not our minds, we have minds, the more conscious control we take in our lives (as the infinite consciousness itself) to bring more happiness and joy into our lives without falling back to what we or our minds ‘think’ we want or need in life.
As far as I know 2012 is the change in the Mayian Calander. I think they kinda went from elemental ages, to other elemental ages. And the elements have different 'personalities' so....meh...something like that.
Darryl, really? you wont talk about this date more? and you make all them vids on christianity, =/. I really enjoyed this video, but we need to get a little more nitty gritty here, i believe, because of my own concept of dimensions. and some other stuff
You are a funny guy:) I agree totally with the dog examples. When someone tells me that other animals have no soul, I ask them to define soul. All of their logical fallacies show up.
I still think animals and people are of a different stuff. I have never heard of a population of dogs having 1% take control of a resource (say food) have part of the strongest one percent guard it and dole it out at inflated cost(say strongest pups perhaps for new guards etc) and let 99% of the dog population starve at times. Think that out, I don't have a lot of characters to elaborate. I wish I could get into depth talking to you Mr. Sloan you challenge me and make me think.
@kombuchaempire Heirarchical power structures exist in the animal kingdom, just as they do for humans. Consider especially the wolf pack with the alpha male and the pecking order.
@darrylsloan Chickens are def. hierarchical, but it seems diferent in people. Animals don't have media lies, or corrupt money systems. Critically argue my point in your mind to see if it has any value please. Animals work in harmony with nature in what they do and humans many times work against nature in their endeavors. Tell me where I am in error in your mind specifically, or if there is validity in your mind to my thought. Wish we were mates, I could say more than a few hundred characters.
@kombuchaempire You're basically saying, "We're a class apart from other animals because we're so messed up as a species." This may sound cold, but evolution takes care of anything that malfunctions. And this may mean that the human race grows up somewhat, or devolves itself to extinction, paving the way for more deserving organisms. In no way does our screwed-up behaviour necessitate that we are a class apart from other animals, only that we may be digging our own evolutionary grave.
@darrylsloan This is fun thanks. I have decided to try a video response later, 500 characters is to limiting. Right now I need to pursue getting some raw milk. I have a bunch of ideas rolling around, I don't feel satiated yet. It is great that you put out ideas on video and take the time to hash them out with the comments. I hope my perspectives don't seem lacking. I will try to be thorough on the vid. I will attempt to be valid. cheers.
Also I didn't hear you mention Terrence Mckenna and the I-ching and how it also relates to the end date dec.21st 2012, and these are coming from two distinct parts of the world.
And by end date I mean the end of ever increasing complexity at faster rates in the 20th century alone up to now.
You should actually talk about the Mayans too if you're going to talk about 2012 because that's where it's based off, rather than relating it to "esoterism" alone.
The only flaw I see in your argument is that you compare 2012 to religion or because of peer pressure, whereas the Mayan calendar and the date december 21st 2012 is based on the study of the stars (astronomy). They devised their calendars according to the way the earth moved in relation to the galaxy we live in, so that date wasn't arrived at because someone wanted to create a religion.
I'll listen to the rest of the video because I agree with some of what you're saying.
@GreenJuliusVita May i add to this part where religion factors in...The Mayan calendar ends that date because it is the end of the cycle. By their logic, its not end times but a resetting of the calendar to start over again. The people of faith are using it as a tool to force belief on everyone. Which i dont really get, btw. If they believe, they got there spot so what difference does it make if i come with or not? lol
@GreenJuliusVita I'm not really comparing the Mayan calendar to religion. I'm comparing man's psychological need for 2012 to save the world to religion.
@darrylsloan Well you are bringing the Mayans into this by putting 2012 in the subject header of your video. That specific year and date is derived by the calculation of the Mayan Calendar and the end of several calendars all ending in that date.
Sure I agree with you people are latching on their fears to this date. I don't agree with your statement that man is merely an animal, and that is a matter of respectful dissent.
The Hunger for success wit woman drives inside me srongly but so frustrately I fail I fail cuz i am shy I fail because i am a coward and at the same time it frustrates cuz it seems in this worl in thi experience the more vi lpeople are the more successful they become why can't the good be the same why is the ood who made bad choices in the past has to suffer for it while they get a get out of jail pass, I don't plan to sell my soul to the dark spirits but sometimes it is rather tempting
I thought this video was very interesting -- especially the side topic of spiritualism in general. It seems that you suggest that you're spiritual journey has led you to believe that "we're like animals...we live, we die, nothing else, finito"...just as a starter for a logical assessment of that idea I wanted to ask you your standpoint on our creation. What do you think happened? Big Bang theory? Anyway, for me the creation and natural order of things suggests a greater plan than just this life
@geniusboy1380 This is a deep subject. I've made videos that cover it. Essentially, the whole afterlife question gets much simpler when you manage to wrap your head around the idea that eternity is not unending time but "a single moment of infinite awareness" - where time stands still. For the time-based thinking brain/ego, death is the end. But from God's perspective, time is not actually moving forward; every moment is "now."
It not so much that I believe Dec. 2012 is the big day.... it's just that the world could use a good cleansing was all that is wrong. To me, 2012 is little more than hope that if it were real event - life would be restarted & people could start over again - and that is what I see as a need.
@olecodjur I hear you. Realistically, any change for good that happens in the world will have to be done by us, as a long, hard process. Believing in 2012 is like outsourcing your responsibility to the cosmos, waiting for the cavalry to arrive.
Aliens will come to earth, a magnetic pole shift of earth , the explosion of a massive star nearby in the milky way , or a magnetic pole shift of the sun. I don't know what to chose but something will go down.
I kind of do have a reason to believe in it actually but it isn't that concrete... but it is very narrow viewed the way I hear about it... the way i hear about it isn't the reason itself but there is a reason
I don't believe anything will happen in 2012, because, for one, it goes against freedom of choice, it would be a forced spiritual awakening on everyone, that is no different then Christians forcing Christianity on people. Spiritual awakening is a personal thing in my opinion.
people cannot be forced to believe something, or become super spiritual if they do not want to. I mean time is an illusion, so 2012 means nothing really.
@sparkydog120 But we dont have freedom of choice on this planet to begin with, being : the choice to evolve naturally. Which could imply we are products of a unnaturall phenomena, but in course for an awesome natural phenomena.
so there might be some legit scale confusion from our perception, and thats just one possible way of like... endless
There's so many debates on this date. I say all we can do is wait. If a world changing event is going to happen, how are we to prepare? May it be the end of the world, a spiritual awakening, the coming of aliens, etc, anything like that; all we can do is wait really. I don't see a reason to get hyped up over it, humans pointed out the various correlation, meaning if it was some divine event we had to know about, something other than humans would have pointed it out. I curiously wait for that day.
@darrylsloan I await it for the reason that it would be something new, if anything does actually happen. We give our lives whatever meaning we desire. The worst thing I can think of would be us all dying, which is unlikely imo, though I still await that, just to witness. I try not to get to attached too things, since we give our own life meaning; death would give us the opportunity to understand what happens after we die, if anything at all happens. I say, make the best out of the inevitable.
WTF has this lot got to do with 2012, let 2012 pass then make you're remarks, instead of assuming and suggesting. people are so very good at defining prophecies before they have become fulfilled. leave the prophecies as they are and wait to see what occurs, its the only way to know prophecies in truth

He will be free to set the foundation of an uncorrupted culture, devoid of insanity & karma.
katsumorymoto 4 months ago
@katsumorymoto
If every soul is "harvested" permanently then how can he set up any "culture" without people to live in it? Lol.
NSPride1488 3 months ago
I have a strong suspicion that on 12/21/12, this may be the exact date where the second coming of Christ will draw upon the entire mortality of mankind to achieve transcendence. This planet may have been terraformed specifically for just this one person to incarnate. The main flaw of the existence of God is the fact that the magic power of 'invisibility' is the most raw form of omnipotence. This harvest/ reincarnation cycle uses karma to break this flaw.
It's the conclusion of a galactic cycle.

Well I had to force your hand to where you stand?...picking your brain sort-to-speak;
KalanYore 11 months ago
@KalanYore "The Infinite" is the source of the finite (you and me). There is nothing but the Infinite, a timeless essence that encapsulates all. So, everything is one, under the surface. But in the realm of time & form, life must play itself out dualistically, through isolate self-consciousness. That's a sort of crystallisation of where I stand.
darrylsloan 11 months ago
@darrylsloan

Animals, plants, the Earth itself is alive as everyone of source energy from where we all come from - the universe(s) is filled with life.

Wow really great video. Here are some of my ideas:
1. The 2012 "Awakening" is already happening, 2012 is just a figure head to cause chaos/ order.
2. ALL things are connected, this is proven through science and meditation.
3. Humans are way too caught up in "Society's Eyes"
4. Enlightenment = Realizing that life's purpose is just to live.
5. If more people projected love and acceptance, there would be more love and acceptance in the world. :p
Anyone feel free to respond. Thank you. :)

darryl, check out on youtube the lecture "intervention theory by lloyd pye". he gives many compelling arguments and evidence why evolution is wrong and does not explain human existence on earth, and also why we are not part of the natural evolution of this planet. if lloyd pye is right, then we may not be animals, but a hybrid of animals and something else. there is genetic evidence for this. you should look into it. it's very interesting.
GlobalDating 1 year ago
@GlobalDating My view of evolution is not quite the same as Darwin's Natural Selection. I see consciousness as intimately involved in the process. I could be wrong, of course. But you're right to point that evolution is not a perfect theory, as it is expressed in science currently, but it does appear to be observable in nature, by whatever mysterious means it advances.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
hi darryl. interesting video. a few points: first, why would you say that everything is fine the way it is now? evil tends to be in power, since the nature of power attracts evil, and evil people at the top usually get away with all their crimes, while good innocent people suffer and are victimized. how can that be fine? second, there are many problems with the theory of evolution. have you looked into them? if evolution is wrong then maybe we aren't animals after all? we seem to be a hybrid?
GlobalDating 1 year ago
@GlobalDating It's a matter of context. The bottom line of what I'm saying about everything being "fine" is that conflict and struggle are a natural part of life, not a problem to be eradicated by a mythical ideal. There is no spiritual paradise after 2012, or at any other time. That's against the very nature of energy itself.

Sod all.

I think the 2012 hysteria stems from the fact that our sun is going through an intense solar flare cycle that may or may not have an impact on earth due to an EMP pulse. Whether this happens at all is still up for debate and we'll just have to wait and see. I firmly don't believe it will be end of the world.
Jammieg001 1 year ago

Thank you for asking questions, love it! Peace!
OAAndreasN 1 year ago
Part 1: Ohh I love questions! I agree with you on quite many of the things, at least to a degree. I agree that 21st of December 2012 as a date means about as much as any other. However I do think that we are already within a spiritual elevation (I'm basing this on the fact that I see a lot more people considering the possibility of something spiritual). And I agree that we are perfect as we are and true, there is nothing that says that we have to change that. Except for ourselves.
OAAndreasN 1 year ago
Did you see my video response? I thought it was funny so I decided to post it. After having discussions with friends I have decided that both world views(humans are animals/humans are not animals) have validity. I believe you have very rational points and you argue out things well. I do not have a PHD, just desire. It would be better to have a discussion I think, I just look uncomfortable on camera.
kombuchaempire 1 year ago
@kombuchaempire Didn't see your video response? Personally, I'm sold on the view that we're animals and that there's nothing wrong with us as a species that needs fixed. I don't see how both can be true. In fact, this issue is a pivotal matter to decide, because how you answer it determines a massive part of your outlook on life and spirituality.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan Well, logically they can't be both true. I think a life as a steward of the world can have merit though. Or, to not think of yourself as having more worth than any other animal. I wish I had two wormholes, two infinite full spectrum telescopes, and the life span to watch the evolution or creation take place on both sides of the planet. It is a device that would allow me to really know. I think you have been freed from burdens that humanity has developed religiously, to your credit.
kombuchaempire 1 year ago
@darrylsloan No other creature has ever devastated the earth like humans. Nor has the potential too change that downward spiral and/or turn it around. Look at the BP oil leak. the animals that are affected have no way of stopping such a mishap. I think BP could have stopped the problem by now too. I think there is an important freedom you have attained in your current philosophy as well. To value human desires as natural. To value desires as motivation. Freedom to be all of yourself.
kombuchaempire 1 year ago
By the way, Darryl, have you seen David Wilcock's 2012 Enigma yet? Check it out! I just watched it, and I think it's awesome.

Nacluw 1 year ago
So where I'm getting at: This reality has to change at some point. Because if life has a meaning which I believe it indeed has, this can't continue forever, because truth is always a truth and is heavier than any number of lies. I do believe in spiritual awakening, simply because I've noticed I live in a CLOSE MINDED, hating, fearful society. I dunno if it's 2012 or not. Jesus and John Lennon spoke for love and they were both killed. So yeah.. we do kinda lack an awakening.
Nacluw 1 year ago
Here's the teaching I go by Jesus said to his apostles go and build my church ...etc etc.....He didnt say churches. I think the problems with religion stem from their being so fucking many religions. I have been researching and still am but Traditional Roman Catholicism "Sede Vacantist" is the only one true faith that dates back to the time of Christ and his apostles. The meaning of life is to get to God. I am attached to sin more than God at the moment if I died I don't know where I would go.
brazierdaddy 1 year ago

GreenJuliusVita 1 year ago
@bozz43 Simplicity is subjective.
Universal consciousness is simultaneously simple (all is one, that's it) and complex (all of reality is connected and no event is without repercussions). That's the whole point of duality. Truth is simple, because it is complete, and complex, because it includes everything.
machinalabs 1 year ago
@bozz43 I've a feeling that Bible verse is quoted totally out of context. Isn't it about rebellion against God and his laws, rather than about man's relationship to truth? Of course, the Bible is so big you can make it say anything by picking and choosing.
darrylsloan 1 year ago

GreenJuliusVita 1 year ago
@GreenJuliusVita "You've obviously closed your mind on this because of the prejudice you have against religion." How is it close-minded, when I backed up every single point I made with a rational argument? It's just convenient for you to use my religious background as a vehicle for an accusation of prejudice. If I'm prejudiced, how on earth did I ever escape the clutches of my past religion in the first place? Surely my pro-Christian prejudice would have held me like a vice.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan I agree with the gist of what you were saying, but there are many parts I disagree with you. I think that you have many rational points, but reason alone is just one side of the coin, and it is the side you over-emphasize. I see a lot of how you think in me, and at the same time I see what others say and see myself in it as well. My heart and mind and wide awake and open to all suggestions.

They lose their meaning (and shape) as soon as you step off this planet, because each star in a constellation is many light years apart in three dimensional space.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan Exactly! This alignment will only be seen from earth. Sort of like an optical illusion. It will not be a literal alignment you know what I mean. That is why I don't put much stock in this belief. There are also many other astronomical events that are supposed to occur on the date but I have to research it more.
555orchid 1 year ago

I think the 2012 event will affect people differently from one to another depend on the way they perceive the wolrd.
MrAbcdu09 1 year ago

I'm speaking against the tendency to grasp for a singular "Big Answer" that allows you to segregate yourself off from the populace and refer to yourself as "saved" or "enlightened." Ideas like 2012 causing a "consciousness shift" are in the same ball park.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
We shift in consciousness all the time as individuals and as a collective. I have researched the Mayan calendar and my understanding is that it is more a map of consciousness than time. I believe they had a good understanding of how consciousness works or evolves. Like how you bake a cake you could say you predict you know when it will be raised properly and ready to eat after 45 mins in the oven. But this is due to your understanding of the process....
lookElike 1 year ago
... I see all around me individuals raising their consciousness all the time. Maybe there will be a point when enough people have reached enlightenment (the realization that infinite consciousness is us and experience it rather than only mentally understanding it) like the 100th monkey effect, the collective may shift into that experiencing, who knows? :)
lookElike 1 year ago
But ofcourse nothing will change because of a date. Things only change when we change them. Dont hang on to 2012 as some date that will magically make something happen. We make things happen.

3..., getting help from a French teacher will only get me to my understanding faster and easier.
You say there is nothing wrong with us and I totally agree but in that you are also saying everything is as it is meant to be so stop doing what you are doing “its wrong”. Do you realize what you are saying is that you have found the answer, believe me. I don’t think there is anything wrong with someone who can’t read but I wouldn’t say...
lookElike 1 year ago
@lookElike "Do you realize what you are saying is that you have found the answer?" Heh-heh. I sort of see your point. The thing to note, however, is that in saying "There's nothing wrong with you just as you are," this is the only stance on enlightenment that doesn't segregate the human race. All other "Big Answers" invariably separate people into the haves and the have-nots.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan, yes I do see what you mean. An enlightened person, for want of a better word is no better or worse than anyone else. But when you meet someone who is realized to that degree they would know there is no seperation between you and them. To go a bit further there is no you or them. We are all one :) I've said quite enough. Until next time
lookElike 1 year ago
I believe if you want to learn French...
lookElike 1 year ago

I don't think theres anything to do though :P

You are a funny guy:) I agree totally with the dog examples. When someone tells me that other animals have no soul, I ask them to define soul. All of their logical fallacies show up.
TheMoonKingdom 1 year ago
I still think animals and people are of a different stuff. I have never heard of a population of dogs having 1% take control of a resource (say food) have part of the strongest one percent guard it and dole it out at inflated cost(say strongest pups perhaps for new guards etc) and let 99% of the dog population starve at times. Think that out, I don't have a lot of characters to elaborate. I wish I could get into depth talking to you Mr. Sloan you challenge me and make me think.
kombuchaempire 1 year ago
@kombuchaempire Heirarchical power structures exist in the animal kingdom, just as they do for humans. Consider especially the wolf pack with the alpha male and the pecking order.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan Chickens are def. hierarchical, but it seems diferent in people. Animals don't have media lies, or corrupt money systems. Critically argue my point in your mind to see if it has any value please. Animals work in harmony with nature in what they do and humans many times work against nature in their endeavors. Tell me where I am in error in your mind specifically, or if there is validity in your mind to my thought. Wish we were mates, I could say more than a few hundred characters.
kombuchaempire 1 year ago

GreenJuliusVita 1 year ago
The only flaw I see in your argument is that you compare 2012 to religion or because of peer pressure, whereas the Mayan calendar and the date december 21st 2012 is based on the study of the stars (astronomy). They devised their calendars according to the way the earth moved in relation to the galaxy we live in, so that date wasn't arrived at because someone wanted to create a religion.
I'll listen to the rest of the video because I agree with some of what you're saying.
GreenJuliusVita 1 year ago
@GreenJuliusVita May i add to this part where religion factors in...The Mayan calendar ends that date because it is the end of the cycle. By their logic, its not end times but a resetting of the calendar to start over again. The people of faith are using it as a tool to force belief on everyone. Which i dont really get, btw. If they believe, they got there spot so what difference does it make if i come with or not? lol
dvsmike 1 year ago
@GreenJuliusVita I'm not really comparing the Mayan calendar to religion. I'm comparing man's psychological need for 2012 to save the world to religion.
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan Well you are bringing the Mayans into this by putting 2012 in the subject header of your video. That specific year and date is derived by the calculation of the Mayan Calendar and the end of several calendars all ending in that date.
Sure I agree with you people are latching on their fears to this date. I don't agree with your statement that man is merely an animal, and that is a matter of respectful dissent.

Anyway, for me the creation and natural order of things suggests a greater plan than just this life
geniusboy1380 1 year ago
@geniusboy1380 This is a deep subject. I've made videos that cover it. Essentially, the whole afterlife question gets much simpler when you manage to wrap your head around the idea that eternity is not unending time but "a single moment of infinite awareness" - where time stands still. For the time-based thinking brain/ego, death is the end. But from God's perspective, time is not actually moving forward; every moment is "now."
darrylsloan 1 year ago
It not so much that I believe Dec. 2012 is the big day.... it's just that the world could use a good cleansing was all that is wrong. To me, 2012 is little more than hope that if it were real event - life would be restarted & people could start over again - and that is what I see as a need.
olecodjur 1 year ago
@olecodjur I hear you. Realistically, any change for good that happens in the world will have to be done by us, as a long, hard process. Believing in 2012 is like outsourcing your responsibility to the cosmos, waiting for the cavalry to arrive.

I kind of do have a reason to believe in it actually but it isn't that concrete... but it is very narrow viewed the way I hear about it... the way i hear about it isn't the reason itself but there is a reason
vicktrickly72 1 year ago
I don't believe anything will happen in 2012, because, for one, it goes against freedom of choice, it would be a forced spiritual awakening on everyone, that is no different then Christians forcing Christianity on people. Spiritual awakening is a personal thing in my opinion.
people cannot be forced to believe something, or become super spiritual if they do not want to. I mean time is an illusion, so 2012 means nothing really.

@sparkydog120 you are a smart person id like to no you

I curiously wait for that day.
xtensitymusic 1 year ago
@xtensitymusic I guess I'm more "un"curiously waiting for that day. :-)
darrylsloan 1 year ago
@darrylsloan I await it for the reason that it would be something new, if anything does actually happen. We give our lives whatever meaning we desire. The worst thing I can think of would be us all dying, which is unlikely imo, though I still await that, just to witness. I try not to get to attached too things, since we give our own life meaning; death would give us the opportunity to understand what happens after we die, if anything at all happens. I say, make the best out of the inevitable.
xtensitymusic 1 year ago
I agree. Anyways, most people don't believe it.
Usually its the spiritualists that have no logic understanding who believes in this. (Like you stated).
