  • there are a lot of uses for this, with a lot more polish. I agree with DungeonsItalia that the more you animate eveyrthing the more it's a video game. This thing is useful for maps and combat situations, but not for imagination and roleplaying. This technology is mostly useful for visualizing area and position in combat, as well as displaying images for slideshows and things the DM needs to communicate. Otherwise I wold have to say use the miniatures as anchors and leave the combat animation out

  • 1-Big map, easy to move and scale. Great.

    2-The grid part is not goodlooking. The grid must be thinner and more transparent. The coloured squares should be softer. This looks like 3d chess from Star Wars. The atmosphere should be changed.

    3I would not use animated 3d models but only icons(or just dots), the animated model is a fail for imagination. The master cannot say "you slice the goblin in 2" because the animated model is not doing it. OR, if the model does it, then it becomes a videogame

  • The dice-rolling thing takes all day, and the virtual die never seems to lie flat. The way the dog moves around on screen pretty much looks like ass.

  • @ChaosOrdeal Constructive critisim, or make some positive contribution to the project. Also, you can roll your own dice, so you don't have to use the computer's. Besides, everything's still "in-the-works".
