  • i would say strictly pre-contest prep.dont get me wrong-i love bodybuilding,its jusy that i agree that that is what hes going for.we must remember to build our foundation,then define the structure.

  • here we go again with the newest routines,the newest machines etc!and again we go right back to making ths bone headed simple and NOT rocket science! o.k.here we go!olymoic style back squats-5x5 or 10x3 if pure strength is needed,olympic front squats-5x5 and finish off with romanian deadlifts-3x5 each.calves are worked in olympic lifting when we literally leave the fllor to extend our dies in the clean and jerk and snatch.again im sorry for making this too basic !

  • DONT GO 90 DEGREES ON SQUATS...it puts all the pressure on the knees. go ATG it puts that pressure on your hamstrings instead of your knees. if this guy didnt have chicken legs maybe he'd know that too

  • Don't you do sumo squat for your internal legs? How do you exercise those parts?

  • @wilsonmilhorini In general you don't need to exercise those parts with isolation exercises. When you start to add pounds to the squat you will pretty much max out any hip adductor machine without even training them with isolation work.

Do you have anything in mind that will help me cure it as in for it to go away, (my doctor doesn't know what he's talking about) or if you recommend this workout? thank you, I've been doing your upper body workouts for over a year.   • @LittleTacoBoy13 Maybe because each one of us has been given a different body. I don't think you can change your genetics, but you can certainly get the best out of what you have. Calves are particularly hard to grow. Greetings!

  • @swaaahtome - lol... You're disappointed in what aspect of my comment? The part where I appreciated the fact that he mentions not letting your knees go past your toes alignment wise when doing the squat - something they don't mention in most video or worse - you'll actually see them doing?

    Or the part where I'm teasing him about his New England accent?

    Or are you saying his squatting form leaves something to be desired?

  • @morpheusxnyc knees past toes is fine, Olympic lifters do it all the time. That is a myth.

    Scotts form is poor, he leans forward too much and his back rounds.

    I do squats most days, it hurts my feelings when i hear people talk bad about them :(

  • hey scott, when i try to do squats with the bar on my neck like that, it comes in contact directly with a bone in my neck. It kills me to do these squats because of that. What can i do?

  • @TheAlexkamen i normally use foam bar in my gym or you can use towel to protect your back

  • @TheAlexkamen you should try front squat or zercher squat or even a over head squat...just some suggestions

  • Man alive I loved doing this workout. I've been doing a full body routine for a couple months and wanted to do a split. Did this workout today. My legs are still heavy and my butt is not happy. Ha ha ha. I will be doing this for the next six weeks. Thanks Scott you're the man.

  • Hey Scott what's up? I've been watching your videos for a couple of months now and I have been working out myself the past year. I have a question man. How can I gain a bit more muscle when I eat perfectly fine/sleep well/go 4-5 times in the gym (I have a lot of free time so I decide really)? I mean I don't eat junk food/chocoloate/candy/excess sugar at all. I just can't seem to get those abs to come out. Help man!

  • @aliboy483 Im not Scott so I'm not gonna get into details, but for your abs you need a low body fat percentage. Low is NOT 15%... low is like 6-8%. Scott's body fat is 5%

  • hey scott, i need sum advice. yesterday i was workin out my chest.and the next day, which is today. . it was really sore. so today i decided to work on it again. and so while i was workin out my chest, maan was really painful. but i just got some blood pumpin to my chest to lessen the pain and then i just went all out on it. so now as im righting this comment. its sore at the moment and i know its gona be sore tomorrow. is it good to workout this hard on ur chest while it is already sore ?

  • i agree with nwoda1118.your working your legs.so wat muscles do u need to see in your top half.yes the magazines hav men with tops off,bt it makes sense to keep wraped up top half to keep you warm while u workin lower half.so no need of taking top off when doing legs.only one reason.to show off.lol.

  • Scott i need your helpp...I watch my form religiously on everything i do and i never over do it with weights BUT i always seem to pull muscles?? For example i was benching 100kg today 6 reps i put the bar back sat up and bang a muscled pulled in my back.... any ideas?? Thankyou!

    im 14 and i have some great abs, they reminds me of yours cause 4 of my packs are really marked, same as urs, and this friend of me at school got like and 8 pack but his packs are smaller and mines are more wide and stuff like yours, so does this makes it harder for me to workout the upper abs, like the two packs on the top, since my middle abs are kinda big, kinda hard to explain, hope you understd what i ment

  • @zazazooboy hold them behind your head as you do them, remembering to keep your elbows pointing out and straight concentrating on tensing your abs

  • Watch out about creating a large lumbar lordosis, just completed a biomechanical assessment and you should maintain a neutral lumbar spine during squats and deadlifts :)
