i think its safe to say alexi mirrors nick drake in many ways. however, had nick lived and percerviered through his troubled life, i really think he would have been one of the most succesful musicians in history given the rate at which he produced pure genius. i am part of the nick drake cult....and the alexi murdoch cult. i love them both. they are different, but share some similarities.

Why oh WHY do people try to compare musicians? Each musician has their own style and feeling. The comments on here remind me of people when I was young comparing Jimi Hendrix and other guitar players like Jeff Beck, Pete Townsend and Jimmy Page. All of which had thier own style.
