  • hey could you let me know what you mods you had done? i plan on getting an 02 or 03 maxima soon and im interested in what you did

  • @guywhoflys1 At this point I had a Cosmo Racing SRI, eBay 2.5 in catback with a dual tip muffler welded on, NWP VIAS block plate, and Megan Racing lowering springs.

  • do you have to move the gar selector well before you want the transmission to shift. It seems on my max the shifting is normal (faster) when in D or 3 but if i click it from 1-2 or 2-3 it takes forever for the transmission to shift. Watching the video it looks like thats what your doing but its hardly any fun or accurate

  • Yeah, I had to "shift" about 500 RPM in advance. Strangely, I actually got faster shifts that way.

    Glad I have a real manual now. E36 M3.

  • @Xbox360Player350 The e36 is a gorgeous car. Manual is awesome, congrats

  • how much mileage did u have when u put on the catback and how much did u pay? i got 170k miles but dont know if its worth putting on a catback.. and what brand catback did u get? thx

  • According to the vid, I had 161,553 miles when I got the cat back installed. I got an eBay 2.5" catback then welded on a nice looking dual 3" tip muffler. It droned on the highway like crazy though. I'd either get a Megan Racing catback or weld a bigger muffler to the eBay piping if I did it over. I no longer have the Maxima though. I have a '98 M3 now.
