could 3m window urethane bond to primer i have to put my back window in and i wanted to know if i could prime the pinch weld area and apply the urthane without having to spend alot of money buin paint a primers and such

you have to prime it when you get contaminants on the original pu bead, i.e. the glass cleaner...

Your not supposed to prime over the urethane. You get the best bond, urethane to urethane..... Just saying
