perfect .... from Stacia's err large stage presence to the barney bubbles artwork .. just stunning .. saw their 40th aniversery tour and they could still cut it ..
This is great! I've been into Hawind since 1970 and seen them about 40 times but their best period was The Space Ritual tour which was mind blowing - thanks for putting this together!!
nice one man. cool images to a classic song. Long live Hawkwind, they celebrating 40yrs this weekend on The Isle of Wight. At Hawkfest. wish I could be there.
tstoakley, Simon King is alive and well and probaby drinking London Pride as you read this. He is an expert on recycling and looks good to last for a few more years yet, Great video and track too, thanks.
saw them 5 times from 71 to 74 twice in england twice in the states fuckin best space rock band ever where do you think monster magnet et al came from? got a photo of stacia s big fuckin tits!
incredible video from a group that are becoming more and more of a legend everyday.Saw this group 6 times. Was always amazed about the drummer Simon King who had so much energy, and was surprised that he did´nt ever have a break down.Stacia is amazing.Such a giant woman.Respect.
ha ha..i was a drummer in a local cambridge band in the early 80s met Lemmy a couple of times saw hawkwind whes i was a kid with my parents a few times..allways wondersd about simon king as he looked like he was about to die...Read somwhere he packed in musis years ago and was working in some sort of waste recycling enterprise??
Seen this band a fair few times and met them and Lemmy also when he played with them, they were great, went to they're backstage party and they even paid for our cab, wicked guys!!!!!! :oD and f**king fantastic live too :oD
@tottiescot I bought the vinyll version of Roadhawks and it is on there as well. Don't know about the CD but when I got the album it had a free full size poster with it in the sleeve.
They have extraordinary music and I like them a lot, but could anybody explain to me what's with the naked chick? Is she supposed to represent something? What?
This a medley with You Shouldn't do That segued into Seeing It As You Really Are. It is simply an astonishing piece of music.

Roadhawks was a compilation album. This track was on the Space Ritual remastered CD and taken from the Greasy Truckers gig in 13/2/72.
You must have the new triple CD if you love Hawkwind, the whole third CD is 95% Hawkwind and most of the songs unreleased elsewhere....
