Arkin was robbed when he didn't get the Oscar for "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" in '68 and he won for "Sunshine" as a make-good for a career of good performances, Too bad he played such a foul-mouthed, grotesque character in LMS, an over-hyped sour, unfunny movie.
