Mike, your wife did a terrific job on "Wheel." It's contestants like her that made me smile for years, during my years of watching the NBC daytime version.
Professor, thank you for posting this. There are only a handful of episodes that we know exist from the Woolery era of Wheel. I have only two questions.
1. Do you remember the date that this showed air?
2. What color was the Camaro you wife ended up driving (I'm asking because I know you get to choose which color you want.)

this is one of the earlier WHeel clips out there, outside of the 1976 episode from the Museum of TV and Radio that GSN aired in 2007 in the wake of Merv Griffin dying.
Weird seeing amounts like $850 on the wheel. I wish the nighttime show had increased values per round like they did back in the 70s, 80s & 90s :(

Wow! A Woolery clip not in the trading circuit! Thanks!

I believe Chuck had mentioned on the Kill The Vampire episode that $8225 was the high for any round on the show at that time which was 1976.

Is that the highest single round total at the time?

Nice rare find, mikeadams, hope you have other Beta taped game shows from the late 1970's to post on YouTube!

Hey, I know it may be a little fuzzy, but the color is terrific!
And what luck she got with a spin that was ultimately worth $4500! Yeah, Herb was tough to catch, but not impossible.
I've seen that style of a Camaro myself. It looks really cool!
