I like Aion very much, but I WANT to GET MORE EXP IN PARTYS! It sux that you get same or even slower exp in a Perfekt Party. There´s no Point to contact even with others when it gives you not any advances. I hate that in these free Japan-Grinding games, I hope they raise the exp-rate in groupleveling extremely. Cuz I play an mmorpg to play it with the community!

@Astor4o Its actually not exactly the same as the korean version. because the NA players tend to whine more about grind they upped the experience for some things and reduced binding soul healing and transporting prices more drastically than in the Korean version

You should be able to craft 2, 1 handed weapons in to a 2 hander twice as large, also adding up the stats.

EG, 1234 damage on the first weapon, and 3766 on the second. To make a 2 hander dealing 4000 damage (my maths aint great so forgive me if those numbers are wrong)

@nowayiwill Assassins were OP once they had their initial stun. The anti-stun takes away that ability and gives players a chance to recover the initiative. But since Assassins can kill so quickly, you only get that one chance due to spell cooldown.

It's not killing classes; it's giving people a chance against them. Now, I will say that we need a similar move for general CC. It is /not/ fair that it's just stuns. Trees and Fear should be one-time breakable with a similar mechanic.

Sins rely on stunlock to win against long ranged classes, with the antistun skill every longrange can easily root you and kill you in few seconds.

As for the stun system - I look forward to it and welcome the additional strategy it will bring to the game (I play a ranger, so it's not like I don't get some advantage from stunning too).  People upset about not being able to stun>kill before the other person has a chance to do anything at all need to just learn how to play better.

While it has taken more time for of them, NC has addressed many of the major issues that this game has had (from bots, gold spam, siege crashes, XP rates, quest items). People need to seriously chill out about claiming that NC does nothing/ doesn't listen to players.

The Armsfusion will be epic! I've got a combined staff on my Chanter on the PTS and the damage is insane! Lookin' forward to having extra Manastone slots for my Sorcerer's spellbook on the Live servers. :)

All in all, I'm happy with the changes being implemented. Should keep me occupied until 2.0 and Balaurea.

Also, Christmas won't come quick enough! Really enjoy the Solorious Festival :D Many hours jumping on the Giant Piano :D

As a Sorcerer, I welcome a lot of changes. The most notable of the changes would be the Stigma Vendor, the Anti-stun and the Armsfusion.

Sorcerer stigmas are a fortune, such as Vaizel's Wisdom and Boon of Strength and, judging by what I've seen on the Vendor, the prices should be pretty slick if they're kept the same.

Anti-stun is a Godsend. Really fed up of losing to a Sin/Ranger due to stunlock. No skill required for that whatsoever in my opinion...

PvP system just sucks, its all about the gear. If you are a good skilled player who knows when and how to attack, u will still loose against a full miragent person who can basicly either 2shot you or you cant even scratch him.

Main problem of Aion? Its made on korea and on Korea its ok to send a patch every 8 months... but not on WoW countries...

Imo either aion changes their update policy or it will become a average game.

Also they need to improve the game coding... its too hard on most pc's and mass pvp is almost impossible

I didn't understand if you will increase drop rate of final boss in instance.

This weekend i did the Steel Rake MID instance for 5 times, and the final boss, Golden Eye Mantutu, and he dropped once a asmodian stigma (how do we use it as Elyos...), and 4 times money only. For 3h+ instance it is REALLY UNFAIR. I received good exp, but drops are really really low. How can you make people doing so long-lasting instance, that has NO drop? Normal elites have a highly better drop rate than bosses....

anyway AION is a good game if you like to grind, could be a great if they fixed the drops/bots/grind/customer support/in game GMs etc...

Bots are gone, drops are getting increased in 1.9.

And they "say" the grind gets fixed in 1.9 i dont bellieve that one though :P

But Imo Instances dont feel like grinding. So its not really grindy imo

@Al3xGamingChannel oh yeah, for sure. and yeah they still have double exp, although with 1.9 coming out in just a few days, i don't think we will be seeing many of those any more. i think 1.9 will improve on how pain staking the grinding is.

hmm i played for 1 month prior too release and quit due to grind and lack of interesting quests that could keep me engaged... But this all seems promising.. hopfully still not just a grind to lvl :/
