This is so awful. It breaks my heart every time I see it. This does not make any sense. This is not the character from the first 3 seasons. No matter how confused Maddie was she would never marry a stranger. She would have the baby alone even if she thought it was Sam's baby. If I could I would keep Seasons 1-3 and a couple of episodes from season 5. Gordon Caron should have waited for Cybill to have her babies and then continue with the brilliant show that was Moonlighting. Boo hoo :(
Nowaday.......i don't any drama could beat with this drama "Moonlighting"......... the back ground musics are always make people feel impressive.......and the actors as well!!!

It's telling that Maddie spills the beans about her marriage once David begins sexually arousing her. Her uh-oh expression suggests she knew it was inevitable if they were alone in her office (where she didn't want to go)they would end up making love. She sees the dweeb she married as something of a barrier to keep David at bay. Like the speeding train in her dream, her passion for David careens out of control and it scares her to death.
I know most fans don't like season 4 but I personally love it so much! I may be the only one who doesn't mind that Maddie married Walter because it was only a matter of time before she would realize she screwed up and loved David, regardless of the outcome in the final season.
If you're catching onto Moonlighting on You Tube, and this is your intro to David and Maddie, you are seeing the best. There has been nothing this good since, there is no doubt.
