@diagn0stik i understand what you are saying. But this gun is constructed 95% off of J.M. Brownings' 1911 pistol. So they call this model a 1991a1? Fine, it's still a 1911. Calling a cheeseburger a stromboli doesn't change what it is.

nice gun. 1911 is the best of all. the only thing I don't linke on THIS gun is the adjustable sights. I don't like it on a 1911. is that a custom thing? coz I've never seen a Mark IV whit it.

These are such great handguns . It's the only 1911 i've shot that didnt jam . And i shot thousands of rounds in one .

From what I have been told many gun dealers are having despites with Colt. The other problem is that Colt has gone though way to many change of management. Colt was so much better when Winchester own them now Winchester wants to buy them back but I do not think that will every happen
