Macs don't play lots of games cuz Microsoft buys off most of its companies like how they took Bungie from us. The main reason mac fall behind on the market is because the operating system was built on Unix and other platforms which make up things like linux.

Because of this apple tried to compensate by building their own architecture, PPC.

But they finally released that PPC sucks because nobody could upgrade their machines without spending hundreds of dollars on a 256mb stick of ram, at least they moved to x86 architecture <_<

Macs are really improving, Last year at my college, at least 10 Dells got a virus that wiped out the entire hard drive...and it wasn't like one every week it was like one every 2 days. It was insane. When you lose a long a** paper you would be crying too. Never heard of the problem with macs. I like the ease of uninstalling a program on a Mac vs. a PC. The both of them are good in their own ways. Not one of them is perfect, so why even have this 'debate', you are not going to change anybodys mind. Macs are good when you want to produce media, music(Soundtrack Pro, GarageBand), movies(Final Cut Pro), photography(Aperture), graphic design(Motion 2), DVD's (DVD Studio Pro,iDVD) while the PC is great for the average person. They run differently. Although Macs and PCs can both edit movies, play games, and create sites, they're still very different. Macs strong point is arts, not to say they're dumb. Shit box? I'm head of my IT department, and do you know why we choose not to use macs? Not just price, but Mac has very limited software support. A mac can't do anything a PC can't. Macs DO freeze and they DON'T run every program flawlessly. It's easy to not get viruses for windows if you're a little careful. Windows has MANY more games. "Security through Obscurity" is a great way of stating how macs aren't so "perfect." PCs can run linux too.
