  • Conductors tempo is way to have after the intro

  • 1:20

  • this sounds an awful lot like swearingen's all glory told

  • What High School are you guys all from? :D ~ Stuyvesant High School, New York!

  • Hells yeah!

  • im playing this @ my school :D

  • This song sounds so cool with the low voices, I play the tenor saxophone and my piece is the same as all the low voices.

  • while cleaning out my piano bench i found my clarinet music for this from 1998. Probably one of my favorite pieces in 8th grade band.

  • I can still remember playing this piece when I was in 8th grade (back in 1983). It was my favorite. I was 1 of 2 baritone players and the night of the concert, the #1baritonist was out sick. I had to play the entire solo piece (at the 2:51 mark on thsi video after drum solo) by myself. Thought I was going to choke - but somehow did it without screwing up.

  • i'm first chair in my high school band and we're playing this. I absolutly love it.

  • i absolutly love this piece. i play a flute and the intro and other sections are so beautifully put together.

and good job on this.. . whatever it was(:

  • My secondary school band (= high school) was among the two gold medallists in that year (probably 1981) interschool band competition. we used this piece. The second movement was pretty exciting. Thanks for sharing

  • Those woodwinds are amazing. Especially the flutes! =]

  • woodwinds nice!!

  • lol i shouldve said nice brass since i am a trumpet player :D but still.. good job!!

  • pshhhhhhhh we sound better!! haha they kept going too fast in sm spots and then slowed down like ALOT!! FLUTES ROCK!! :DDDDDD

  • My band played this song last year at carnegie hall =P, playing this a lil to slow, BARI SAX =D

  • I'm in 8th grade and play the flute and we are doing this song for our 8th grade graduation ceremony...I LOVE playing this song! It's not that hard. but we are an advanced band we've been playing with the high schoolers since 7th grade.

  • this piece has always reminded of something you would hear in a show at disneyland or something

  • Comment removed

  • We just played that for our League thing and we got a III rating, which is bad for our band, on a I-V rating with I being the best. But my part as a trombone was easy.

  • im doing this song in band as a 7th grade flute!! haha we are going to NYSSMA is a full band with this song!! we are pretty good we started it like beginning of january so pretty good so far!!

  • lol ima do diz song in mah band! great job!

  • I did this song in 7th grade.

  • 7th grade??? really?? my band just got the sheet music today and it was suppose to be for the junior/senior band (I'm in the freshmen/sophomore band), but our conductor thought we were ready for it. we weren't. If your band is really, REALLY good then you MIGHT be able to do it but I don't think so. It is mainly a highschool band piece.

Quote from my friend Dan/Danny/Danwell(yea, no idea were it came from) "There are THREE ways to do something, the easy way, the hard way, and the Denbridge way"

  • for the second trumpet, on measure 132 there are 2 'accented C's' and you can make them into a smiley face

    i know it's random

  • well, the peice is lvl 3 and my little bro played it when he was in 5th grade the conductor thought it was a challenge but it brought good publicity to the school cuz they did it good and where only 5th graders.

  • Depends on where your school is and how big it is. For seventh graders in a big school who've had band for a year and instrument classes ie. trumpet class, clarinet ect it's not too hard. In a small high school where you've been tought in a big group of all the instruments, you don't learn as fast and can't do the harders stuff untill you're older.

  • The conductor was was going a little fast through alot of the song wasn't he? I realise it is played in cut time, but I still think it was a bit fast, but still good, It's fun to play

  • Wasn't in cut time.

  • nuuu teh time signature changes alot but its never in cut....

  • good baritone entrance! @ the solo with the snare part.

  • gr 9 band is playing this for vms too

  • I'm learning this song. Its really easy.

  • Sapphirechick.... ummm I dont know if you were saying you guys were good or not... but a 4 isn't good....

My band is doing this currently. Do any of your guys bands compete at hearshy park? Durring the spring, you know they have that big fesival. Where the band has to qaulify? Alot of middle school bands go there to compete... Well our school always goes. Our band always wins at least in 5 catagories. Along with our schools Choir and Strings.

  • Someone upload In all its glory or Eiger please...

I played baritone on this song, but I now play snare.

  • What school is this? If it's Fisher than its me. :)

  • No, it's Forest Hills Northern.

  • im in 7th gfms were playin this
