One of my all time favourite songs. Still dont get the Slash is a guitar god thing. Compared to Gilmour he's clumsy. When it comes to guitar Gilmour is in a total different league. Slash has yet to get beyond the pentatonic scale, but he's got swaggering and posturing down to a fine art! Why are rock and metal fans so easily impressed?

Everyone who plays guitar has tried to play the Sweet Child O' Mine intro at least once or twice, just to try it. Gilmour is a FANTASTIC guitarist, but Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb, Breathe etc etc... aren't difficult songs as such, but chord progression and soloes are majestic!
