@crazyh21 first of all, Knicks got to have at least one good player in the paint area. they also need of some good bench players...the most important thing is...a better coach...
@OleKyrkjebo he is a good offensive player in the paint,but what i mean is a player who focus on grabbing rebounds and make defensive play. we can see that when amare facing some all star players,he cant always take any advantage,because he has to spend his strength to take care everything in the paint. he is good but he needs help in the paint. Even Michael Jordan needs help, at least he got pippen and rodman.
@arohating Now we're on the same level. In fact, the Knicks need D all around. Amar'e has some nice blocks here and there, but not enough, and they're in general letting in to high FG%. Of course quality bench players are needed and they probably adressed that in the draft. And of course no one can win a championship alone, I know very well that Jordan had lots of help winning his 6 rings. The Knicks have a very strong core in Melo and Amar'e, and need a good C. Tony Douglas is their future PG
@arohating I believe if they play Amar'e at center and 'Melo at PF they can be better. I think they practically have to unless the newly drafted center Josh Harrelson out of Kentucky steps up. If he can't I think the Knicks should try to get someone like Thabo Sefolosha or Tony Allen. They are great defenders that can play both the 2 and 3, and if they play 2, Fields can play 3. Sefolosha will probably be tuned out of the Thunder this season because they have to play Harden. Same with Allen/Mayo
