What's the name of the song that plays when you face those scarabs in the haven weapons hangar, also when ocelot is opening outer haven, and also when you leave the disc in the machine and don't select it to play?
Actually I do remember something about an original ADAM or ADAMSKA, cant remember which....read something like that somewhere...maybe metal gear wiki or the ps3 database, can somebody clarify this if they recall anything??? pretty weird throwoff if you ask me.
SPOILER ALERT(just in case,lol) Adam was supposed to help Snake(Big Boss) in mgs3, but he never showed up. Ocelot says his name is Adamska. In the end of the game, after the credits, Ocelot reveals he was Adam. MGS3 has a lot of cool secrets like that. Anyone ever notice how Raiden is all over that game? First, the mask. Then his poster inside a locker room. Big Boss is called Jack, which is Raiden's actual name. And a bunch of other stuff. I wonder why they did that?
the scene where snake kills the boss in the flowers, I wasnt sure if I should be sad or not...since I thought she was a bad person. of course I am sometimes slow with plot i had to research after my first playthrough to understand better.
but seriously ARE U SUPPOSE T O FEEL SAD DURING THAT SCENE??? I mean nobody realizes the boss's true being till the end right? of course now when i go back and watch it I can feel sad..
Yea, Snake didnt really know the truth until then end, but she was like his mother nonetheless, so yea, you're supposed to feel a bit sad at least. But, the heartbreaking moment is the final scene at the tomb.
well in MGS3 snake did infact get a girl, Eva who we all know at the end of the game we found out was a spy sent to get the legacy from volgin, she ends up stealing it back from snake at the end of the game, we also know that ADAM was Revolver ocelot or known as Ocelot in MGS3
Adam was his codename, that's the funny thing. MGS3 has a nice plot, Zero told you to meet their agent Adam, but instead you met..? Eva, haha. That's a coincidence since Eva worked for the chinese and Ocelot for america. So apparently Ocelot was the agent you had to meet, Eva betrayed you.
Nearly every mgs title so far made me cry.Especially mgs3.The scene when the boss dies is saddest than sorrows story.But what the hey,the series is known for great graphics,soundtrack,gameplay and overall storyline.
Yeah but snakes story was refreshing for a hero character because at the end, nobody really truly knew him, he didn't get any girl AND it is implied that he will die shortly after the end of the game.
It's a sad way for kojima to end his story like that, but sad stories are the ones that stick with ya.
Would have been a lot better if Snake shot himself then rolled the credits to show snake as a true hero sacrificing himself. But instead they made a pointless 45 min cutscene with almost every hollywood film genre cliche ending.
If MGS4 had a generic hollywood film ending, then why didn't he get the girl, somehow found a way to stop the advanced aging, and live happily ever after?

There was never a girl to begin with, Rambo never got a girl, very common in hollywood action films involving a Soldier as the Hero. And his aging is actually undecided.
a cliche is something when it happens in most cases and in most cases the guy ends up with the woman. If you want to pull any hollywood drama used, then every game is a hollywood cliche.

Even if solid snake is fictionnal I think that a lot of the officials "legend" that are living in the real world are fake. First thing to know is that people in society don't know nothing about military project and in metal gear the subject is well examinated about secret conspiracy like the patriots. So I think that anyone that can call a soldier a legend can call Solid Snake a legend.

A legend is someone like Bruce Lee or a real life Special Operator who actually sacrifices himself in a combat mission for his teammates, and/or country. You should really look into the the stories of your real life heroes of your country. Look up Seal Team 10 memorial.
Man, I'm gonna miss Solid Snake, fuck Big Boss, liquid and everybody else, Solid Snake sacrificed everything to save the world, he is truly a living legand, and will always be remembered!!!
The Haven Trooper theme was some of the best gunfight music ever. I hated doing my Big Boss run, that music just screams KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!! Not to mention they generally annoy the shit out of me and I enjoy making them suffer.
nothing can even be compared to mgs4...maybe some of the games have better graphics...but this game, is EPIC, is ART, it has revolutionised the gaming industry, the best STORY EVER...better than any game or even hollywood film...BEST CHARACTER STORY BACKGROUND, Gameplay is soo good, and ONLIEN IS JUST.....AWESOME.....

Gears of War 1 and 2, Fable II, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, Banjo Kazooie, the Forza series, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden, and most other good franchises. The PS3 has MGS4 (which is more a film than a game), and LittleBigPlanet, which was sadly pushed back.
Just an FYI, I have a PS3 and a 360 (and previously had a Wii, which I sold earlier this year). I've never had the RRoD on the 360, and I've had it since release day. The PS3's internet browser is awful, I'd go so far as to say the Wii's was better. Microsoft has more franchises due to it actually being profitable-The PS3 is dead in the water. Nobody wants to make games that use the PS3's potential, and nobody wants a console without games.

I do know, I've played every game (yes, including the classics on the MSX2 NES) aside from Subsistence, and they are brilliant games (with the exception of MGS2:Substance. MGS4 is above average, but nothing as special as you fanboys claim. If it had as much gameplay as it does cutscenes, it would be better.
That, and the fact the camera focusses on Snake's lycra-bound arse when untouched. Thank God for the Altair costume.

I can say MGS4 was nothing special because I've been gaming since I was 2, and have played more games than most. Anyone who uses IGN as their score-based review source obviously doesn't know much about gaming. Look into IGN's review history.
MGS4 gets it's high ratings from being the fitting end to a great series, not from being a good game. Honestly, if anyone plays through that and thinks it's the greatest game ever, they are a fanboy. Any experienced gamer would say what I have.
Wow you are a fool. I don't use IGN. Try checking out Metacritic and see what ALL the major reviewers have given it. MGS4 IS an amazing game. Congrats on gaming since you were two, but i guarantee you wouldn't of been able to understand a game fully until you were atleast 9-10 years old. I HATE the ps3, but i know MGS4 is an amazing game. Stunning visuals, amazing gameplay, top notch storyline. If you can't accept that it's one of the best games ever made, you shouldn't be called a gamer.

You forgot something , the only problem with the ps3 is how it cost and the 40 and 60 gb lectors , but if you buy one you'll have blu-ray player , an internet browser , it has MGS4 of course , you can change your hdd for a 350 gb hdd ( for example ), it won't show the 3 lights of dead and a lot of things . Microsoft has more franchises because they sold more consoles , remember they released the Xbox 360 one year earlier than Sony.

And MGS tactical espencion to playstation when I stil a kid XD, and I can say like I said back then "the best games ever mayed" nothing will change that to a fan!! I think that was the love theme, or a variation of it. You should be able to find it if you look around in the song list on the Soundtrack. I think most of it is sequenical.

I'll miss Snake, sure I know he's a fictional character, but I grew attached to him after playing the games for so long.

Well not to go against your love for the character. But he's not a legend. A legend is someone like Bruce Lee or a real life Special Operator who actually sacrifices himself in a combat mission for his teammates, and/or country. You should really look into the the stories of your real life heroes of your country. Look up Seal Team 10 memorial.

The Haven Trooper theme was some of the best gunfight music ever. I hated doing my Big Boss run, that music just screams KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!! Not to mention they generally annoy the shit out of me and I enjoy making them suffer.

nothing can even be compared to mgs4...maybe some of the games have better graphics...but this game, is EPIC, is ART, it has revolutionised the gaming industry, the best STORY EVER...better than any game or even hollywood film...BEST CHARACTER STORY BACKGROUND, Gameplay is soo good, and ONLIEN IS JUST.....AWESOME.....

Gears of War 1 and 2, Fable II, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey, Banjo Kazooie, the Forza series, Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden, and most other good franchises. The PS3 has MGS4 (which is more a film than a game), and LittleBigPlanet, which was sadly pushed back.
The PS3 comes 3rd this gen, sorry fanboys.

Just an FYI, I have a PS3 and a 360 (and previously had a Wii, which I sold earlier this year). I've never had the RRoD on the 360, and I've had it since release day. The PS3's internet browser is awful, I'd go so far as to say the Wii's was better. Microsoft has more franchises due to it actually being profitable-The PS3 is dead in the water. Nobody wants to make games that use the PS3's potential, and nobody wants a console without games.

Second, CoD:WaW (AKA CoD5) and Mirror's Edge are multiplatform, so get your facts straight before you attempt to argue. Killzone 2 will be just like Killzone 1-A good shooter, but nothing special. LBP is a brilliant game, and I can't wait to get it, in all fairness.

I do know, I've played every game (yes, including the classics on the MSX2 NES) aside from Subsistence, and they are brilliant games (with the exception of MGS2:Substance. MGS4 is above average, but nothing as special as you fanboys claim. If it had as much gameplay as it does cutscenes, it would be better.
That, and the fact the camera focusses on Snake's lycra-bound arse when untouched. Thank God for the Altair costume.

gotcha. but, mgs4 isn't only recognized by fanboys as one of the best games, maybe the best. for example, compare it with splinter cell:
when you're (supposedly) sam fisher, you go to the middle of the fucknig nowhere to get a bloody information and the mission is over. it's always the same. but when you play msg you're snake!
yes you're right, maybe mgs has many cutscenes, but without them the history development would... poor
and those are great cutscenes, you're on the edge of the sofa

How can you say that MGS4 is 'nothing special' when IGN gave it a Masterful 10? you know Gears 2 "only" got 9,5. And GTA4 got a 10 aswell. The same as MGS4, so i guess thats nothing special either. Ohh and did i mention that MGS4 also got higher ratings than the Halo series?

Don't get me wrong though, Halo Gears and GTA4 are also great games.

I can say MGS4 was nothing special because I've been gaming since I was 2, and have played more games than most. Anyone who uses IGN as their score-based review source obviously doesn't know much about gaming. Look into IGN's review history.
MGS4 gets it's high ratings from being the fitting end to a great series, not from being a good game. Honestly, if anyone plays through that and thinks it's the greatest game ever, they are a fanboy. Any experienced gamer would say what I have.

Wow you are a fool. I don't use IGN. Try checking out Metacritic and see what ALL the major reviewers have given it. MGS4 IS an amazing game. Congrats on gaming since you were two, but i guarantee you wouldn't of been able to understand a game fully until you were atleast 9-10 years old. I HATE the ps3, but i know MGS4 is an amazing game. Stunning visuals, amazing gameplay, top notch storyline. If you can't accept that it's one of the best games ever made, you shouldn't be called a gamer.

Kid, you're 16. I've been gaming for longer than you've been alive. If you had actually played real amazing games (or were mature, or knew what you were talking about, or anything of the sort), you'd understand. The storyline is only just above average, thanks to Kojima adding unnecessary trash to please the wider audience, and the gameplay is limited.

You forgot something , the only problem with the ps3 is how it cost and the 40 and 60 gb lectors , but if you buy one you'll have blu-ray player , an internet browser , it has MGS4 of course , you can change your hdd for a 350 gb hdd ( for example ), it won't show the 3 lights of dead and a lot of things . Microsoft has more franchises because they sold more consoles , remember they released the Xbox 360 one year earlier than Sony.

I love this games so much. I played the MG fore nintendo 8bit, back when I was a kid. And MGS tactical espencion to playstation when I stil a kid XD, and I can say like I said back then "the best games ever mayed" nothing will change that to a fan!! I think that was the love theme, or a variation of it. You should be able to find it if you look around in the song list on the Soundtrack. I think most of it is sequenical.
