Awesome, got kids myself that play drums from ear...Tom Sawyer, Metalica, Van Halen..but their in the teens...Very Impressed. Oldest wouldn't play till he had double kicks.....Keep it up lil man

My question is a little more elaborate; do you, the parents (I'm assuming), play any musical instruments, or is this just one of those totally random happenings, like a 3 year old picking playing along to a radio with a spoon or something? I'm really interested in the story of how he got to this point at 6 years old... I mean, even if you're pushy parents who are telling him "THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO," it's justified in my mind, because this is EXACTLY what Jonah needs to do! He's amazing!

@balderdashsir I am a musician, but Jonah is NEVER made to play. Jonah plays drums when he wants and plays what he wants. Jonah even decides when he wants to tape a YouTube. Jonah has never had a lesson, he just loves to play. I cannot explain Jonah's gift, he still blows me away everytime he sits down behind his kit. After he is done he is like any other kid his age. Cheers. :)

I don't mean to make comments on all these videos of Jonah, but this kid just keeps blowing my mind! Besides just playing the drums incredibly well for his age, he also does a lot of things that probably go over the heads of most non-drummers. The way he hits his crashes with either hand- you don't see that in a lot of newbie drummers... The syncopated high-hat at the beginning of this song- that's nuts! The way how, at the end, he does the fill accenting with only his right hand! A++++!!!
