The police department and northampton in general isn't as liberal as you may think, this video shows us the old NOHO Vs the new NOHO! I highly applaud all of those who took part in the March. The attitude of the cops is something I was afraid of ever seeing in N'ton, but I knew it would happen eventually, and it is not by accident and as time goes by it will get worse if we allow it to continue. The cop's display of attitude and force is the beginning of a police state. Not only the BID march but other future assemblies could net the same results. As a people we have a job ahead of us now.

I am in a BID dstrict that was formed in the 90s in Wisconsin. I presented a petition with a  majority. Then the city geramandered the area and won. I applaud fighting to keep indiividual control and protect the integrity of all people in Northhampton. right on!

The arguments of this group are sound and well reasoned. I have lived in cities that have cleaned up the homeless and the buskers and the kids from their streets. The overall effect was simply to take once wonderful, vibrant metropolises and them into soulless shopping malls.
