Sounds so much like Bon Jovi or Danger Danger, still a kick ass band tho!
I keep on wondering: there was so much of really awesome AOR/Hair-Metal bands in the 80s, still you can find something you missed from that era. It's a shame that these days we don't have such a glam or just a pop-metal variety in music.
God damn,I remember so good the time when I couldn't wait to get my driving license to ride my firebird and to listen to this song. It was a wonderful summer. So much great memories, when I hit the gas so many nights to get to all those parties while listening to those bands of the 80's. Specially Blue Tears. That's been two years ago and I can't wait for summer 2012!
What a great song!! Perfect mix of pop and metal! This whole CD is great... it was the best Bon Jovi album Bon Jovi never made! Pick it up if you can find it.
THIS WAS MADE IN MY HOME TOWN.GREGGS MOTHER WAS MY SONS TEACHER.WE SAW IT ALL!!!! SO GLAD I FOUND THIS VIDEO!!! I DID NOT KNOW WE HAD LOST GREGG HE WAS A GREAT PERSON FROM A GOOD FAMILY WE WILL MISS HIM .
Does anyone have a copy of this CD? I would pay a small fee, or trade for a copy of something else. I have over 200 disks of 80's stuff, some are hard to find.
@outcastMETALchild89 dont worry my friend, the 80s are comming back in a big way, notice the remakes of old 80s movies(shit as they are)and the long bleached blonde glam rock is comming back, this should be 2080 not 2010
What a song! The big question me and my friends (those who can appreciate GOOD rock) ask ourselves is, "Why was this song not huge!" From the minute that guitar intro hits, you, you're fired up and rockin...BIG TIME!
The frontman was my uncle. This was the only album Blue Tears had. Nirvana came out like 8 months after this album and killed that whole genre. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months ago. But it's nice to see people are keeping his music alive.
I have 4 Blue Tears albums.. Their self titled, "Mad,Bad and Dangerous, "Dancing on the backstreets" and "The Innocent Ones" .. Their first album was the only album they released before Grunge took over. Either way, he was a hell of a voice and songwriter. RIP
i remember gregg tellin me online that he liked fishing and fishedin the chesapeake bay where i live when he was younger, when i go fishing this summer i will be thinkin about ya, R.I.P. Gregg
im soo shocked...i just can't believe it....I feel like i lost a good friend of mine..I will alwayz remember you Gregg...R.I.P....I hope that someday we will meet again....
There was a problem with some medication and he was found on his front porch with his cell phone in hand. Visitations will be in Nashville tomorrow and the funeral Friday @ 10:00 AM.
I have some sad news. Greg Fulkerson featured in this video as the lead singer of Blue Tears passed away yesterday in Tennessee. He was a great musical talent and will be greatly missed!
Wow, really sad and shocking news. I love Gregg's work with Blue Tears, Tim Feehan, Michael Sweet, and especially Attraction 65, which was amazing. Rest in peace, Gregg. What happened? Do you know?
I love this. This is shot in my home town. Greg is a friend of the family. I some how got in this video by just being in the right place at the right time. I'm the blonde dude 1:57 into the video.
Amazon my friend :) But beware.. some CDs can have cut-out. I don't have to be worried I already own this excellent CD but it's printed in UK. It's a shame they never sell it anymore in Europe like in the old days. I saw this disc in the cd shops in the middle of 90's actually! But after that every melodic rock CD disappeared and was OOP. That sucks! Nowadays I see RnB and death metal crap on the shelves and some rock classics like Aerosmith but never bands like Blue Tears, Dare, Valentine, etc.
Its frightening to think of how many bands you can miss out on, I had never heard of Harem Scarem till 3 years ago and I'm still catching up with some 80s bands!! God Bless Youtube!!!
Thanks for posting this! It's been years since I've seen it. I was in school with Gregg's brother, and the guy who plays the villain in the video was a friend of mine. I think he still lives in Jackson.
That was an amazing, magical time for everybody around there. I miss those days.
Catchy song from a solid band, but nowadays it sounds extremely dated and a bit cheesy. A lot of fun, flawed as it is. Gregg Fulkerson went on to form Attraction 65, and their excellent 2003 album builds on the promise of Blue Tears in a wonderful and more mature (but still melodic!) way.
I agree that their performance wasn't great at the Firefest, but I just don't think they could have replicated that BIG sound live. But the CD does kick ass, so have to disagree there dude.:)
i agree greekshark they have that vibe young forever lol, im a big fan i have alot of their songs on my channel alot of unreleased music everybody check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
i taught the guitarist how to play, startin out askin him to go from f7 to Am was near enough impossible now look what he can do, he doesn't even look where he's puttin his fingers, it's a good job he could afford my lessons

Younger bands should start playing aor metal and the young and clueless kids would start getting into it.
