There seems to be a connection between David Lynch fans and great musicians, Fantomas, Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree, and you just can't fault Angelo Badalamenti's scores.
holy shit! if you notice, around the 0:53 second mark, there stands frances bay, happy gilmore's grandmother. just thought I'd put that out there, for informational purposes.lol
Jesus... Patton is the fuckin' Midas of music. I cannot find any words to describe how much I love this guy, how this guy changed my life with his music. I love all his projects from Faith No More, Tomahawk or Peeping Tom to crazy Mr Bungle or Fantomas. It's awesome that he made music to which I can party, get drunk while I'm fucked up, have sex, go jogging, have a romantic dinner with my gf or simply light a cigarette, have a cup of coffee and just relax...
It's weird to hear that Tool fans should boo Fantomas. Maybe Tool fans in the USA are a bit deranged? I don't know I'm just guessing. Here in the UK you'll find most us Tool fans are huge Patton fans too. Personally I was a huge Patton fan before Tool came along but I love both.
shit, man. i've had this fantomas album forever, always loved this song. recently watched the series and this movie. just realized for that high pitch scream they sample laura palmer screaming from the black lodge scene in the finale episode. awesome
Marilyn Manson also samples that scream and a number of other sounds and lines from that episode in "Wrapped In Plastic." The funny thing about this sampling is that Mike Patton could have easily recreated that scream himself nearly perfectly. lol. Man is sick. And awesome. Check out some live Tomahawk vids to see what I mean.

David Lynch is like the Adam Sandler of avante garde films. He uses the same actors continually.
mrbunghole 1 year ago 2
@mrbunghole Lynch once wrote that he likes to recast actors if he can, but he would never cast anyone who didn't fit the part.

Me too. Makes that part of the song 100 times more awesome. That scene was terrifying, I was in awe when it was all done.

The lyrics from the info are accurate. But I can see how you misheard, I had several lines to debate originally as well. :/
