  • this scene was really need to remove it except for the other scenes just think, without terminators means not sending kyle to the past and that means also no birth of john connor

  • This ending is called a "franchise killer."

  • I remember seeing this a long time ago way before YouTube but i dont know where i would have seen it though..

  • Am I the only one who prefers this ending?

  • @skorpi0wut nope

  • This WOULD seal the story forever. And it would have been perfect. Oh but noooo...we had to put up with the T3 crap and the T4 garbage. T1 and T2 rules, everything else is a bad attempt of the lost movie generations.

  • @predatorxv the reason cameron didn't want to close the series, he himself said HE wanted to make a terminator 3 movie, but the film company that made terminator 2 went bankrupt and the rights were sold to someone else, james cameron COULD have made a decent sequel to terminator 2 but instead the film company that brought the rights went ahead without him, that is why 3 and 4 were nowhere near as good as 1 and 2 no one can match james cameron at his own game

  • @Ramzzy666 I agree. Thanks for the additional info. Cheerz.

  • The one they choose was more interesting visually.

  • Another thing about Michael Jackson...he would have been in hog heaven in that playground!

  • @superhornet69 Wow. LMOA:D hog heaven:D

  • LIES... Michael Jackson was 50 when he died in 2009 so in 97 he would be 38, this film is completely un- realistic to me now......

  • @brothermoyen Damn:) Good comment.

  • I like this ending better. They should have kept it and just ended the franchise because we all know T3 and T4 was a fail.

  • @Jfjabba6 Agreed.

  • Neutrinos from CERN prevented us from seeing the alternative ending before.

  • I think I like this ending better than the original and shorter one.

  • This scene sends chills up my spine, It terrifies me for no reason, the sheer reason that nothing happened just terrifies me.... watching this scene is holy

  • i would still hit the elderly sarah

  • They tested this ending with test audiences in theaters. They liked the other ending better because it left the ending more "open", and hopeful. So this ending was cut.

Had this ending come to pass, it would have stopped all sequels.

  • @Draknfyre Or maybe just prolonged any sequels from happening.

  • @Hobbes1025

They would have to be pretty screwed up sequels, as this shows John Conner 30 years later with a daughter. Way beyond even the battle you see him in in the first one. SkyNet was gone completely with this ending. None of the machines were built.

  • @Draknfyre She says Michael Jackson turned 40. He was 50 when he died. Something could have happened! Reese came back and impregnated Sarah, so it had to have happened, or they just tore a huge hole in the time/space continuum. --Or am I overthinking it?

  • @Hobbes1025

No, she said he turned 40 after Judgement Day. In this video, it's thirty years AFTER that. So MJ would have been 70 at the time of this video.

  • glad they didnt use this, the futures looks crappy and the buildings look obviously fake

  • all the people's clothes and playground equipment was yellow, orange and blue and this ending would have made the movie have a sadder ending

  • Michael Jackson turned 40! wtf

  • It's not that john connor wouldn't exist, its just an alternative reality, if they were able to stop skynet. Also, I think john would have existed even before Kyle going to the past, because 1)John already existed in the future without Kyle going back and 2) Sarah had a boyfriend - an asswhole - who didn't go out with her in the first movie and she went out alone.

So, I think John would exist withou Kyle therefore this future would be possible. IMO

  • @AhMandaMell

That's called a predestination paradox. By going back in time to create John, John existed in that timeline. He would have always existed from that point of view because he went back in time to create him.

  • i like it, i just, i dont know, i like it, i mean, the 3 part is horrible! so this happy ending is good for me, the original ending is better but is ok too

  • Btw... in T2, everything from the future had to be destroyed right? Well, Arnold's arm which he had to rip out still was there. Do you guys know what scene I'm talking about?

  • @attitude8x Yeah i know exactly what you mean! i always think the same thing! BTW...this ending BLOWS!!!!

  • If there was no nuclear war why does Sarah's face look like it's been melted off and badly reconstructed?

    :/

  • @greyztone muwahahaha

  • @greyztone Time went away (30 years ago), she got old.

  • @RanaRandom It was a joke dude.

  • It is interesting, but T2 is too perfect to end up with Linda Hamiton using this ridiculous make up.

  • what the hell kind of game of Frisbee is going on back there at 0:56?

  • wtf

  • Wait wait wait. Hang on a minute. How the hell can John Connor even exist if the war has never been fought? If the future is so good then there is no need for Kyle Reese to go back in time to screw Sarah Connor and produce John, let alone a granddaughter. What the hell?!

  • this scene would have stopped the sequels but at what cost, at what cost? :-(

  • Comment removed

  • I've always wondered why there stood "old Sarah Connor" in the end of the special edition of Judgement Day. xD

  • After seeing Avatar, Cameron coming up with a shitty mega happy ending like this makes sense.

  • My eyes

  • the 80's is the future? wtf

  • It's actually quite awesome.. until the hover frisbee...

  • Dang this is a busy park

  • "micheal jackson turned 40" lol wuz dat necesary? (sorry for my spellin)

  • @GodzillaXAbudAwwal he was the biggest thing then!

  • man, this is awkardly awful

  • michael jackson turned 40.........i see

  • @cllrghst

Yeah, yeah I realise that. It just sounds random and out of place though.

  • What the hell's going on in that frisbee game?

  • Why is it that everyone looks terrible with old age makeup? No exceptions.

  • @psychopomp88 F Murray Abraham looked good in Amadeus.

  • wow thats fucking awful

  • Michael Jackson turned 40 ... 50 didn't turn out so well. URK I'm dead!

Jesus, Cameron's got a history of bad alternate endings. The Titanic one is just as terrible. I wonder if Avatar has a fucking stupid ending where they fix the giant tree?

  • What? That would of been perfect scene for another judgement day to happen again. Soon as she's done talking theres a flash and a huge mushroom cloud!

  • Who the hell wrote this scene?

Michael Jackson turned 40? What does that have to do with robots?

  • This is awful. I mean, worse than the sequels.

  • cheesy as it is this ending would have effectively prevented the god awful sequels they made.

  • I hope they found the arm that the terminator left stuck in the giant gear.

  • Is this for real?? How would this have been a better ending?? I'm glad they left the drunken grandma out of it.

  • michel jackson turned 40

  • WTF where has this scene been!!! how come i never saw it before!!! it would have been better if they put this scene in the movie then making a terminator 3 and 4

  • The used ending is better for its ambiguity.

  • This alternate ending is interesting, but seriously it's corny in some parts...like Michael Jackson? Sarah getting drunk on the supposed judgment day? Wtf? XD plus this ending would've totally taken a shit on the fact that Sarah suffered in an insane asylum for most of the movie, and if judgment day never happened the people at the asylum would definitely think she's crazy. in addition, after the terminator "died", their life is all peachy dandy just like that? it's soo not believable. xP

  • Thumbs up if you think that terminator 3 should not have been made

  • Thumbs up if you think terminator 3 should not have been made

  • Man, nothing is a better tearjerker than a mature woman doing a voice-over on the ending of a sci-fi movie/game...

  • @TeshiKennedy117 I think Cameron saw the cheesyness of it and scraped it. Good thing too.

  • not too bad, but they got one thing wrong: on August 1997, it said Michael jackson turned 40. He was born in 1958. He would be 39.

  • That had to be the gayest alternate ending i ever saw in my entire life thus far. Thank god they decided not to go with that.

  • the biggest problem i see with this ending is the fact that if the Connors had successfully stopped the war, then John Connor wouldn't exist, because Kyle Reese wouldn't have been sent back because there'd be no war and there'd be no reason to protect Sarah in the first place. The existence of John Connor at the end of the second film is proof that they failed and therefore that the war is inevitable.

  • @madman13lm: I see it as they created a new time line of their existence as time is linear and not circular. I see with them closing off the loop then they splintered their existence into a new direction. Terminator 3 is just one of many possible existences that could happen, this ending is just one of them.

  • @madman13lm they´ve probably send someone from year 2003 to 1991 to prevent this scene to be in the T2 movie so they can make other terminator sequels =D

  • @madman13lm so after the terminator is destroyed, John Connor would immediately cease to exist? isn't this getting into the grandfather paradox of time travel? your point also does. there would be no way to resolve this paradox, except for what they came up with in the series.... that Judgement Day was only postponed.

  • @madman13lm

What if it using Back to the future rules?

It created a B universe, like how the Marty from the A universe was in the B and had full knowledge of everything.

  • Comment removed

  • Buen Punto. Hubiera causado una paradoja catastrófica, como lo propuso Dr Emmett Brown en Back to the Future!

  • @madman13lm its kind of funny that you mention that now and not when they planned to end it in the film. Thats what the film is all about and im suprised nobody questioned that during it.

  • @madman13lm Unless John is really someone else's kid.

  • @madman13lm Its a paradox which is why time travel shouldn't be possible.

  • @madman13lm Ur a fucking genious!!!!

  • @madman13lm yeah, I don't like this ending either for this same reason. In my opinion Sara was just dreaming this ending in this version.

  • @madman13lm He didnt just inseminate Sarah Connor, he inseminated TIME ITSELF. Get with the program

  • they should choose this ending.so i eyes don't have suffer by t3,t4,and tscc.those 3 are trash and destroy message of terminator(if you try hard you can change your destiny).

  • if they would have put this ending on the T2 then that would have been a big middle finger up to every one who has seen the film!

im glad they didn't put this on if they did they would have been no T3 NO T4 AND NO TSCC

  • older john connor looks like bill nye¨the science gay¨ and Eric roberts hahahahahhaahaahahahhahahah

  • okay ? this is weird, i mean at the end of T2 i would like to see some more with not just a car driving on a free way but this is weird to but ya the final ending is better

  • This is 30 years later, not 6. She makes a reference to Aug of 1997 thats all. Then she states that, "that was 30 years ago."

  • This is scene is not set in august 1997, but after it, in the bright future that replaced the dark one.

  • video doesnt work

  • I wish they did use this to stop them from making T3

  • I agree, but this ending is jsut so random and funny, like michael jackson turned 40, and I got drunk but that was 30 years ago, lmao

  • Quick, someone travel back in time to prevent the horrible dark fate that has befallen the franchise!

  • @steharrislufc That's what I thought too.

  • @steharrislufc They could have ended it the way they did and still not have made any sequels. Also, no one is forcing you to watch them.

  • @steharrislufc Are you kidding me? I'd rather have Terminator 3 than this shitty ending.

  • @steharrislufc AMEN

  • uhhh michael jackson??? wtf

  • Michael Jackson turn 40 but now he is 50 years old now. And he pass away rest in peace

  • Wat the john conner the same cast that appear (looking around with binocular) during the starting of the film?

  • Yeah, the dude in the intro of the film with the binoculars is supposed to be John Connor.

  • Me he quedado atonita!! D= ...menos mal que no lo hicieron como final principal xq sino no hubiera podido continuar con T3 y T4

  • micheal jackson turned 40..... i got drunk. SO GLAD IT'S A DELETED SCENE....!!!

  • so glad they didnt use this. Good call cameron.

  • me quedo con el final normal, por que no sigue lo de la 3 ni las cronicas de sarah connor
