Any debate the degrades to "OH THE CHILDREN" has ceased to be a valid argument. Yeah, they are kids but the mostly adult fighters (the intened target) were kids at one point too. Wheres the love now? There is no reason to tie our own hands when we have a weapon that is effective. You wont make war more pretty by banning these weapons you will only make things more complicated for our own side.
