This movie was amazing, and I wish mainstream America could put down the explosions, gorgeous vampires, and fighting robots to experience it. Without exaggeration, this is my favorite film of all time - I hope there are other people out there who enjoyed it as much as I did. Reshaped my paradigm of relationships and human interaction, as well as just being visually and aurally mesmerizing, and finally being topped off by Keegan DeWitts amazing score. Can't wait for Cold Weather. By they way can you believe this was made for $2.5k?

I am willing to bet that big time hollywood actors are not more talented than the amateurs in this sorry excuse of a movie, but are capable of generating a far more greater emotional response in the audience.

God, this has to be one of the most boring fucking things I have ever seen. Yes I have seen this p.o.s movie like 4 times. What sucks about it? Everything. But for starters, let's start with there is no real plot, no character development, no story arches. If you've ever wanted to see a movie about people hanging out, this is it. I mean, sitting on a front porch is the feeling this p.o.s produces. They could have gone to any bar or restauraunt in NYC and just interviewd people about whatever,

Transformers may have been a big, dumb, loud cgi fest with bad dialouge and giant robots beating each other up, but hey, at least there was an actual story there and something happened in the movie. And unlike this p.o.s, transformers actualy got pretty good reviews. (DeadflyOrkestra: yeah, it's definitely video and probably DV. There's a smear in the in the backlit shot that only happens with CCD sensors. Most recent HDVs use CMOS sensors which don't do this.)

An absolute gem of a film. It really really is something special. Aaron Katz is an emerging talent that studios should take note of as is Erin Fisher and Cris Lankenbau who are just simply sublime and romantically graceful actors. I have just got my hands on the DVD. Well worth it. A truly honest, affectionate, heart-warming film. Five stars
