I am very glad I will be voting for the first time this elections! What a historic moment. McCain/Palin!

Let me address a couple of things, non-issues commented here. On the Bristol pregnancy: It is not a secret. It was addressed by Governor Sarah Palin, saying Bristol will now have to grow up faster than she and her husband envisioned.

The McCain's daughter Bridget was introduced during the RNC convention. Bridget is underage and is in school. Aren't underage children sacrosanct to jibes?

i dont kno about dis election thing. I find it so odd that palin's daughter is holding that baby the whole time. If its to hide her pregnancy i dont see why. They should just let the country know. I mean its gonna come out in the public, weather she becomes the v.p of the United States or not. Thats just how it is when ur in the public eye any and everything will be talked about

I find it really odd that John & Cindy McCain never include their adopted daughter, Bridgett in any photo ops.

There is a nice picture of the McCain and Palin families on the cover of People magazine, but Bridgett (she lives at home and is underage) is noticeably missing. I sincerly hope it has nothing to do with her skin color.

Well, Bridget was at the convention last night with her siblings. She struck me as being very camera shy, however, as opposed to "McCainBlogette" Meghan who appears to enjoy being on the campaign trail.

well have you been payin attention cause super mom sarah palin water broke in tx and 7 hours later she flew 8 hours to alaska and then drove and hour to the hospital to have her baby while her 17 daughter was out of school for 5 months. i smell bullshit dont you. the woman would do anything for her career even lie about her daughter

Or do you think her daughter was pregnant April with two different babies...one she had in April and one she's due to have in December?? nah sarah has her photo as well as bristols removed that showed bristol looking pregnant in late 07 and sarah never looked pregant and she told her co-workers the day she goin into labor and sarah hid all of this so she wouldnt destroy her reputation. the bombshell was dropped to mislead us to believe bristol is pregnant now and not then, but she was out of school for 5 months for mono supposedly then sarah went into labor. until i see a video of sarah in labor im not buying it

I still don't understand though...do you think Bristol is not pregnant now? Or do you think she got pregnant again before giving birth in April??

seeing how my wife is 5 months pregnant and going through many births in my own family i do know what being five months pregnant is but honestly she doesnt look that far along. i believe thats where all this speculation has come from but it is a weird situation.

Have you not been paying attention to today's news? Considering she's 5 months pregnant, I'd think it's a safe guess that she/they wanted to hide any "baby bump" she might have so they could announce the news when they were ready to.
