try using a groupe 12 proslot slotcar motor (12v 8-22amps) it'll put out 68-70,000rpm and make that boat do about 60mph

if you ask me these boats suck ive had 2 that don't turn right or left or go backwards well this 1 one i had literaly blew up they suck

i have 1 there not bad but my mate was holding it when it was wet it sliped out of his hans and the left propeller got fucked it still works but veers to the right at slow speed but is normal at ful throttle

These boats aint that bad. I got mine RTR for around £25 and I run mine off an 8 cell 9.6v and its quite fast for the price... am modifying it soon tho

i have 4 of these now i have race batterys but cannot find 380 race motors i run 550 and 540 motors but will not fit in this boat anyone now were i can get any 380s?

why would you want a 380? just find a way to make the 540 work or do even better than that and go brushless already, why do you have 4 of the same boat?
