I always thought wiener schnitzel was a hot dog thanks to the american fast food chain of the same name :(

I just want to add that the old school way is to fry it in pure pork fat(larp). That's also how it's still done in the good authentic restaurants. take care folks

We have almost identical meal in Poland it is called Kotlet Schabowy and the only difference is in meat - we use pork meat. :)
