T3 was not that bad, I liked it. you have to understand the idea. John was a wreak, trying to run and do everything he could to avoid his future role. He had no family, no ties to anything and all he had was to run. By T3 he had nearly given under the weight of his responsiblity and had to snap out of it. It was worthy of the Terminator series.

T3 was in no way a 'prequel'. It was a crappy movie. SM Stirling wrote a couple of great novels about what happens after T2. Those should have been T3. I'd recommend those books to anyone who liked the first two movies and hated T3.

Well, I personally think there shouldnt have been a T:3 at all, even if Furlong and Hamilton had signed on. (What would have made T:3 far better)

After T:2 the story was over for me.

The whole message: "The

future is not set.There is no fate but what we make for ourselves." is destroyed, because T:3 shows us the opposite: You can do whatever you want, the machines are gonna rise and mankinds gonna fall.

I agree, they even got John Connor's age wrong and had to say that Sarah Connor died of leukemia because Linda Hamilton turned down the role. Arnold was gonna turn down the offer too since James Cameron (who directed the first 2 Terminators) wasn't directing the 3rd. Edward Furlong had legal problems for troubles with drugs and alcohol so he couldn't star in the movie. But there is rumor that there may be a 4th movie and Edward Furlong might be in it, but Arnold is so out of shape...
