I was reading an article last night that said that Ms. Burden always had a tape measure with her, and she walked around and measured her projects. It' was a comfort to know that the city planner could take a tape measure and decipher the difference in six to nine inches.

It's common knowledge that Amanda Burden had an affair with Ted Kennedy, who was at the time married to Joan. It does make a body wonder how many in the political arena who she has rustled up to get from point A socialite to point A city planner. It seems to me that one should have experience in structural engineering or the like to fill that job. It may be that she has always been into erection and demolishion.
@streetwhereulive Sept. 7 round 2 appellate court DOB king Mike being sued because Mike threw out the requirement that the commissioner of DOB have a degree in architecture or engineering. I do believe Mike, the people's Burden and everyone who pushed the reckless tsunami of development have endangered the safety of the people and for what? Greed and stupidity...same ingredients that brought an economic meltdown...

I am sorry I removed the comment. I meant to reply to it but I removed it instead. You got the gist of it. But if you need it repeated let me know. You know she dates Charlie Rose, but they had a little spat in 2005.after she heard something on his cell phone from another woman or so I was told. Now it seems all is Rosey with the "Over The Hill" gang. Burden is not ugly, and some men simply don't mind climbing into a plastic saddle, while most would rather feel the leather when they ride.
