5:30 told me what I wanted to know, it can stab strait edge down. I have had a few knife fighting classes and the classic European fencers were right, a stab is a little faster and harder to gaurde. Slashing has it's place too, don't get me wrong but I would want a self defense knife that can handle a striat stab without having to turn the edge up.

Cold Steel is the Best... The Espada XL G-10 is incomparable. Though the aluminum-framed ones are a lot prettier, the G-10 models are more practical and inconspicuous.

Today, Cold Steel makes between 25-50 million a year. And look at the views of their Youtube videos, then the untold amounts of free DVDs given away with their catalogs. Maybe it doesn't suit your tastes, but they know how to show their product, and sell it.

Not to Troll at all, but most if not ALL of these cuts are done with trained knife experts. I would LOVE to see someone right off the street do these demos exactly as these guys did it. And one more thing, after they stabbed the car plate, was the knife still sharp, or did it need to be sharpened? I know the high quality that CS lives up to, and all of their items are at GREAT prices!
