Guns N' Roses WAS a great band, Axl included. However, Axl single-handedly destroyed the band by forcing the other members to give up their equity stakes in the band. The great irony is that Slash, Duff, Matt Sorum, even Gilby Clarke have had successful careers since 1993 while the "New GNR" is a shadow of its former self. Axl is a great showman but extremely egotistical. If you really want to know why GNR broke up, read Slash's autobiography.

No, sorry but neither Metallica "always" allows cameras or fans taking pictures at concerts! I know that 'cause in 1999 Berlin concert there were NO CAMERAS ALLOWED! (I was there of course). By the way it depends on much more things than you can imagine; my father is a music manager-that's how I know.
