  • Back in nov 1983 I did a special RAP to the instrumental version of this song expressing some very beautiful feelings of love / i'm going to locate it and share it with the world / IT IS A LOVE MESSAGE SO BEAUTIFUL !!!

  • The year was 1983 / this is the signature song that brings back memories of a beautiful loving feeling I had for someone / she was 17 and I was 31 / but I waited till she was 18 / we became the best of friends and had so much fun together / before she unexpectedly died at age 39 / her"TIME CLOCK OF THE HEART" moments with me were the happiest moments of her LIFE / 1983-1985 memories are FOREVER !

  • @missiramey I was really tiny when they first came out but Caught The Culture club bug When I was in Jr. high 93/94 and My Bedroom was also wall papered with pictures of Them and George, My mother walked in and actually started crying....

  • @RainbowBrite80 ha, ha that's funny. My mother did the exact same thing back in '84

  • Kind of funny when this band was becoming popular how people used to argue over if Boy George was a girl or a guy...lol.

  • Damn I miss those days... we had such fun until Reagan and Bush2 took everything away.

  • saudades de uma época que jamais será igual. Hoje as músicas são quase descartáveis, não fazem histórias como as dos anos 70 e 80.

  • WoW! I wish he still looked like that!

  • his image was so unique, so original....creative......and the songs were great!...we dont get pop stars like thosein the 80s anymore. there was a lot of passion back then, all the brit 80s bands...love them all

  • Call him a faggot. Put him in prison. Say or do whatever, but the fact will always remain that Boy George is a talent for the ages. His voice is like no other!

  • @terrypos wouldn't call him faggot to his face. Boy George is more gangsta than all of hip hop put together.

  • @terrypos WHY PUT HIM IN JAIL?

  • Just listen to the song and shutup.

  • The Boy who dared to be different.

  • love this song!!

  • way to mime

  • ..."Time, it could've been so much more...time won't give me time..." I get it

  • i remember when culture club first came out. the early 80s, ah how i long for that decade! high school parties, big hair, stoners w/rock concert t-shirts, preppies wearning 3 or 4 shirts/sweaters, jocks, great teen flicks, hanging w/friends, and F*CK'N GREAT MUSIC!!!!

  • oh george

    You still have the time

    to fix your life's crime

    50 is the new 40

    Life has not began

    Take care of yourself

  • I am not picking apart Culture Club, however, on stage they have a bass, rhythm guitar, and what appears to be part of a drum set. When I first saw this way back when, it never occurred to me there is a saxaphone solo, lots of over lay violin arrangements, and near choir like vocals. Not to mention the tubular bells at the end which adds to this amazing melody. To top off the performance it ends with the perfect applause song track ! My point is: a fake performance on a supposedly live show !

  • he's a multi-millionaire darling

  • Wonderful GEORGE!!!!

  • I love these guys!

  • cc is greatest band.

  • Elegant synths, heartfelt vocals + super-cool image.

  • Thank goodness I was there firsthand when all this came out.

oh, and I totally wanted to look like Marilyn McCoo when I grew up. So pretty!

  • Yes, I know what you mean about being there when all this came out. Thank God for youtube, parents and older siblings, for without them a new generation of fans would not be able to enjoy great music such as this timeless CC classic!

  • that big, gay mother fucker was cool..

CC is still the baddest band of all time

  • ah yes! The Good Old Days! Seems like only yesterday. I found a new inspiration for just about everything! Thanks, Gina and lads!

  • I was 16 when I saw this back then and my mom said, "She would look nice without all the makeup"

  • geez..i so remember this..the good ol days!

  • This was probably their best song

  • Agreed man.. You said!

  • So do I.

  • Wow, this song brings back memories.... I was in junior high when this song was popular, and I remember listening to this song repeatedly on my "Walkman".... (the cassette version, of course...) ;)

  • hahaha, yeah. how can anyone forget the sony walkman? ah, time indeed...

  • Sweet. Boy George had the balls to be different-and show it. Glad he got over the boy-and the heroin.

  • i've been a fan of culture club eversince they started the band. now i have two kids and one of my daughter loves this song too.

  • love boy george. I remember watching this show.

  • one of my favorite

  • yeah!! culture club rlz!!!

  • is it just me or is he bare footed in this performance?? ;-D He does look great here, wish he would still maintain this look, but ... oh well ... :-) still a great song and one of CC's classic.

  • I think you're right! I hadn't noticed until I saw your comment and paid attention. I guess because he usually is wearing shoes I didn't think otherwise. But yeah, he had the good ol' barefeet dancin on that stage! : )

  • he looked great, long and slim body, and his long black hair, with a hat on :)

  • i sort of agree. but that was then!

  • i love this song but his clothes are huge! haha

  • How this brings me back to the Glorious 1980s! Love this song...I first fell in love with my first girlfriend with this song playing...

  • GREAETest song of all my life, thank you!!

  • Very under rated band. Some great tunes this one in particular.

  • he allmost looks like a hip hop dude with his clothes here :) hehe

  • Me too!!

  • What Year was this?? 83/ 84

  • Was charted in december 82 in UK and march 83 in US

  • i love his unique look, and his eyes are so georgeous...his makeup too, :)

  • sometimes it's hard for me to tell if boy george is a guy who wants to be a girl or awho wants to be a guy

  • Boy George was a great dancer.

  • An absolutely excellent song. . . The video which is also on Utube is the first time I have reseen it since the 80s, those were the days. Amazing how such a messed up person could come up with such a beautiful song regarding relationships. Nonetheless, a complete gem of a song.

  • wow. boy george could of contended with GeorgeMichael. but Boy ended up bein the bigger bitch and let gay bullshit totally kill his career. atleast Michael is stll sumwut relevent these days. i wanna hear more cultureclub now, thnx to dis song.

  • When you pass on through to dimensions unknonwn time stops and is no more...you find that you have crossed into that wonder of Eternity.

The fact is...I am closer than you think. I am looking at you and I am found everywhere. You see me with a smile you feel me in the birds, and you witness my vision in your dreams. this is the Time, the sort of junk that Pixie kiwi dreams are amde of. Where all your dreams come true. Precious

  • can any body tell me who is the one that was humping georgy in those days. it was one of the boys of the band, but who? I wonder. TELLL ME!!! SOME BODY.

  • It was the drummer John Moss. He's george lover at that time. check out the "it's a miracle" video, where their holding hands, that should give a clue, but yeah we were kids at that time and were clueless bout that scene.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MY FAV SONG OF!!!! Even if he's gay he still a hell of a better job at eye make up than I could ever do! you know time won't give me time! OHHH man!

  • oh his appearance is so gay, I really didnt recognize that back in this days, but the music is so great, could kiss him although.

  • his gay appearance is freakin hot ur probaly just jealous cuz ur not as good looking

  • I remember seeing this as a kid as well... I didn't know what boy george was... I just remember thinking, "wow, what is that??? Is he a person from space?!" I was so excited... I thought he was an alien and I wanted to meet him.

  • I actually remember watching this as a kid. Solid Gold was always a family favorite.

  • I don't have any idea but I think his "eyebrowns" is quite ART :-) A famous Indian Make-up specialist did it and he needed 3-4 hours do the make-up for George (I got this information on internet. If you've seen the picture that George dress up as a japanese, you'd see that his eyes were really Asian.

  • Not bashing "gays" but I think you right! I've been tweezing my eyebrows for years and still can't get it right!

  • Yeh,have you ever tried to "draw on" eyebrows?

  • jaja fantabulosa song! isnt it?
