  • that is a great reaction from the audience, god speed Steve, you'll be missed more than anyone can imagine

  • That has got to be the wildest from-silence-to-roar cheer he ever had

  • What a great guy. I've been watching these past keynotes of apple even though I've watched them before and Steve never fails to amaze me. He is indeed a genius. I know this will sound cheesy but I feel as if there's a crack in my heart because I know now, that I won't be able to see Steve work ever again. :(

  • RIP Steve Jobs...

PS - Wish someone would make a iCEO Wallpaper.

    Thanks

  • Why the f*** a person like this has just died ?

  • R.I.P Steve Jobs

  • This is such a remarkable moment right here.

  • We love you....iGOD!!!

  • thank you steve, really

  • As a consumer, this video gives me chills knowing this is the start of the "Second Coming of Steve"

  • At the last day of his life, he transformed himself from iCEO to iGOD

  • Steve,

    Thank you so very much!

    I will miss you!

  • RIP Steve.

  • He did an awesome job. Steve, thank you!

  • ITS AL OVER TODAY HE RESIGNED

  • Steve Jobs:

    1976-1985 (CEO Apple)

    1985-1997 (CEO NeXT)

    1997-2000 (interim CEO Apple)

    2000-2011 (CEO Apple)

2011- Dead (Just Lay Back and Enjoy)

  • @TheOpaso steve jobs wasn't apple CEO during 1976-1985.. the CEO's were: michael scott (1977-1981) Mike Markkula (1982-1983) and john sculley (1983-1993)

  • @irjo Ok....Damn

  • Sadly today the day has come where he drops the CEO title after 11 years...

  • Haha. STEVE! STEVE! STEVE! STEVE! STEVE!

  • Wow, the 1:41 reaction is epic... like a sports game, haha.

  • At 1:41 the crowd went insane

  • how is the relationship between Jobs and Gates now a days????

  • Collective orgasm at 1:43!

  • Bill Gates is so damn creative.

Thumbs up if you have an iMac

  • Ich bin seit 10 Jahren Apple Fan und ohne Steve hätten wir so manche Technologien nicht. Steve hat immer den Riecher für neue Technologien gehabt und manchmal muss man halt alte Zöpfe abschneiden.

  • Without This Man

Apple Would Probably Be An One Unknown Company !!!

Thumbs Up If You Agree !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Developers, developers, developers!

  • I now run this company again Muthafucka!

  • why the hell did they fire this man he's a genius. I hope he fired those assholes

  • @cemsengul16 It was positive for the company. Jobs worked on himself and then become a better man. He also founded NeXT and Pixar. And without the NeXT side, OS X wouldn't be as awesome as it is today.

  • @cemsengul16 The company was outright stolen from him by a man he trusted and called a friend.

  • @cemsengul16 Sculley resigned himself and passed Apple down to another CEO which passed it down to 2 more, before finally reaching Gill Amelio, which then labeled Apple as "a dead company". Later , in 1997, Gill resigned and brought Steve Jobs back to Apple as their interim CEO by the means of Apple buying over NeXT.

  • Steve Jobs is my idol

  • i love the reaction!

  • apple=MONEY

  • i cant FFORD ANY APPLE PRODUCTS. i only have an ipod but, I think his speeches are far valuable products then the ipod/iphone etc

  • i love steve but i hope he knows what hes doing with the ipad

  • @brian1rr

    What's wrong with the iPad?

  • He is a genius.

  • i almost cried. what would happen to apple without this man

  • @brian1rr erm:

    1. John Sculley will come back and ruin Apple?

    2. Gill Emilieo will shutdown Apple?

    3.Microsoft will buy over Apple?

    4.Steven will be teary-eyed?

  • @brian1rr He didn't even do anything

  • @brian1rr

unfortunately,in my opinion, hes screwing apple again, just like he did in the late 80's that led to his demise

the lack of quality, and the constant updates to mac os x has made the os too complex for people who are not computer literate to use.

  • @heathirving Being a stupid troll is one this, but being an uneducated moron is something worse. Lack of quality ? Lack of constant updates ? Too complex to use ? Are you a maggot that lives under a rock ? If OSX is "complex" for you I think you're just a dumb hillbilly. Check Apple's stock and shove it up your ass.

  • @87ramasaurus

fuck you troll you obviously havent used mac os x

having apps constantly break with each update

  • @heathirving

    hahaha stevie has just quit!!!

how do you like them apples!,and christ, bill gates has taken over!

  • @heathirving Few things:

    1) Bill Gates resigned as CEO of Microsoft years ago; he's in the same position Steve Jobs is now.

    2) Having apps constantly break with updates does suck, OS X only had that problem with Lion and with very few apps. Windows Vista, however, had it in a lot of apps.

    3) Apple has only thrived under Steve Jobs.

  • @ZaydHumsy

1.thats true, but with 90% market share all microsoft has to do is not make another vista

    2. wrong, ive used mac os x since 10.0 and it affects all versions, drove me nuts. even some games specify certain graphics chipsets,or they wont run. i can still run office 2003 on windows 7

3.true,after he mellowed, but before he got the boot he was impossible to work with

we differ in opinion but thanks for being civil about it!,not like some other toe rags around here

  • @87ramasaurus

settle down faggot apple fanboy use mac os 9 then x and see the difference

  • @heathirving I think you should ask your mom to get a better job than being a street whore. Maybe then she can afford to buy you a better computer dickhead.

  • @87ramasaurus

i was actually asking yours last night as i was fucking her up the ass,she said her son was a disappointment

and she should have let him dribble down between her ass crack and leave him as a stain on the mattress.

i am entitled to an opinion, cunt.

  • @heathirving You're a toolmaker from Bhutan !!! LMFAO NO WONDER !! HAHAHA, please, get back to your cave with a hammer and some stones. Btw, if it's helpful we have something called "fire" since the last couple of hundred thousand years. It might come in handy for you.

  • @brian1rr Now you get to find out. Probably won't be pretty.

  • @brian1rr The day has come.

  • @brian1rr Steve Jobs 1855-2011

  • @NBAFULL lol u faggot 1955

  • @007oddball :)

  • @brian1rr he really saved us

  • @brian1rr u_u We will se it soon...

  • how much is a ticket to go see macworld

  • Macworld is gone. Macworld 2009 was Apple's last year at the expo.

  • i know but im talking about next year macworld 2010 or whatever its called the conference where they talk about new products

  • Yeah, it's called macworld. And Apple is no longer attending anymore. The only trade show Apple goes to is WWDC for developers.

  • 300 bucks was, the ticket to WWDC is 2500 bucks...

  • Macworld 2010 is still going to happen though

Apple is just not going to be there

  • That's fine with me. The one Thing i always will love about the Mac, is the Community.

  • @rockinghaven

Apple has discontinued the Macworld Expo so that they can release products more on their own timeline. The last Macworld was in 2009 hosted by Phil Schiller. They still have WWDC but I think you have to be a developer to attend.

  • @MasterOfTheXP

They haven't and they never ran it. The expo continues anyway... just without the keynote that took up all of an hour of a three day event.

  • 300 bucks

  • man, how i wish to be at an apple's event for one time...

  • holy shit that crowd loved that

  • Get Well Soon!!!

  • i know he has cancer or something like that and took a few mouths off but he's been back at apple for a while now

  • Yeah, he has cancer. Have you seen recent pictures of him? He's hella thin. :( I still say he should have taken a couple more months off.

  • hear hear

  • Pirates of Silicon Valley is a good movie, an insight into apple and microsofts beginnings

  • That ain't a good movie for a historical research. The one closer to the true is the triumph of the nerds.

Though Pirate of Silicon Valley is funny as well.

  • please tell me when the hell does bill gates or Steve ballmer habe this applauses?? GO APPLE!!!

  • i dont get it if he built the company how can they take him away

  • Because that how business and stock work. They voted jobs out.

  • after all it was his company and it was taken away from him, the best desicion apple couldve made was to bring him back, now we get to enjoy his amazing computers, thank you steve jobs!!!

  • Ever see Pirates of Silicon Valley? That movie dramatically depics some of the main reasons why Jobs was voted out and why Wosniac left the company. Steve Jobs is kinda crazy, and a bit of a hot-head

  • That was a great moment.

  • hey... it wasn't Sculley that dragged Apple down... it was GIL AMELIO who almost had Apple torn into pieces. The Pepsi-cola man sucked anyway. Look at Florina at HP... you guys must know one thing, it does not take any company's MD or CEO who can simply become an MD or a CEO of a tech company especially those who aren't tech savy enough. The Steves (@Apple) & Larry (@Sun) are the tech genius of the century. Gates is just a copycat and Ballmer is just the man who barks behind the copycat.
  • steve ballmer is probably the cockiest person on earth. he laughed at the iphone when it came out

  • Of course, that was before iPhone beat the shit out of Windows Mobile.

  • Hell yeah... 25,000+ apps & counting...

  • and then tryed to copy but failed the iphones multitouch

  • thank god sculley fuck off

  • I wish Steve Jobs was a little bit healthier now.

  • @EuroCarfan00 He Is!!!!!

  • @EuroCarfan00 If by "a little bit healthier" you mean free of cancer, I agree.

  • Wow, right after he says "I am dropping the interim title" People just EXPLODE!!!

  • biggest....... applause....... ever

  • The only thing that competes is the original Macintosh introduction.

  • Indeed. That was legend.

  • not quite. the "1984" commercial and the Macintosh introduction were probably the biggest applauds in my whole 12-year life

  • True this.

  • It's true.

  • awesome!

  • wow... iCult

  • 1:40-"Best Decision Apple Ever Made!"

  • so true

  • steve has great jobs hahahahahahahahaha get it apple & pixar

  • that is pretty funny

  • Jobs and Lennon two beating hearts of my life.

  • iGod

  • Steve Jobs is such a legend..the current Apple of 2008 is all his hard work..

  • What an incredible feeling that must be to have so many people that truly respect and idolize you as a legend.

  • iLegend.

  • iCon

  • steve jobs became the massiah of apple!!

  • That's great. That must have been the longest he had smiled since his revealing of the Macintosh in 1984.

  • iSteve!

  • i wonder how great steve felt once he said hes dropping the interim title.

  • yea, i think he felt wierd too, he was announcing about himself..haha...happy though.

  • *hails steve*

    genuis!!!!

  • Bill Gates?...Never heard of him.

  • NICE!

  • what a feeling

  • love it when they go "Steve! Steve! Steve!"

  • Thank god Steve Jobs came back to Apple. I've recently converted from Windows XP to OS X. I love my MacBook. It's got everything I want or could ever want - hardware or software.

    Apple makes amazing products!!!

  • Just a pity they cost a thousand dollars more than competitor's hardware in non-US countries. I live in NZ, where Apple hardware is WAY too expensive for what you get. :S Still, I run Mac OS X :) Love it

  • My MacBook cost £830. That was for a 2Gig ram, 160Gig HD, 2.4 Intel Duo Core processor and OS X Leopard.

You get what you pay for. I've paid a premium over other laptops - but it was worth it.

  • A Macbook at those specs is nearly 2000 dollars in our currency, it is not worth it. Apple have great hardware but ... import prices and currency conversion make it prohibitive anywhere other than North America and the UK :(

  • macbooks are way too costly in india too...but i went the extra mile, pleaded with a friend in the US to buy one on my behalf...and am i glad i did that! i love my Macbook!

  • Steve Jobs forever/

  • Can anyone say Tech GOD?

  • History in the making.

    That's a fact.

  • I was there!!

    It was super great

  • Surely, you meant "insanely great"?

  • OH MAN THAT WAS AMAZING!!!

  • like everybody here. WOW one o the best wow momentos in history here

  • Epic moment right here! Epic.

  • Wow! This is such a pivito part of Apple history.

  • haha i love this moment

  • Steve Jobs is probably the best CEO of any computer company. He nurtured Apple back to health, and he drove sales through the roof and made/created the best products of the time.

Doesn't he ever run out of creative ideas?

  • lol no it would seem not! But thank god he doesn't he is the best!

  • They guy is the most strict employer ever... but i think he is also the best manager on the planet

  • A beautiful moment... wish I'd been there!

  • and the place goes bonkers!

  • MacWorld 2000, what a MacWorld, they introduced Mac OS X and Steve Jobs became the Apple's CEO...

    Steve:

"I'm gonna drop the interim title..."

    Crowd:

    "WOWOOWOWOWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

    Steve:

"You guys makes me feel funny now..."

    ahahahah i luv you steve

  • My god.. it's like a religious cult!

  • Oh shut up. This isnt the time or the place.

  • I believe in jesus.

  • Steve Jobs is amazing

  • Jobs > Jesus

  • That crowd was pretty pissed off when Steve got the job!

  • HOLY SHIT the crowd was very happy :-)

  • i bet he felt special.

  • Please continue. Please continue on about how Windows despite being the 'universal operating system' as such still gets messed up so frequently, or about hardware optimization in relation to the software functionality, Mac are second to none, or how, the IPOD, yes, the IPOD, is the single most dominant mp3 player in the market.

    Please continue.

    Microcock.

  • You can't guarantee an economy. It was post 9/11. My dad worked for Showtime At The Apollo and they said he wouldn't get laid off. But he did.

Why is it that everything has to be race related? Quit being a pretentious prick and grow up. Realize that people don't get laid off for being black or hispanic. They get laid off either becuase the company can't support them, or because they are shitty workers.

    Woot

  • Keyvan98, you're a bitch. O_o... you're just jealous.

  • pc/evil (gates being the antichrist and all that) ---mac/good (wich uses a bitten apple like eva´s sin symbol)this symbolism is kinda creepy.

  • lol anti christ gates

  • Yeah a drop out from portland oregon college working for Atari and HP compared to a drop out from Harvard that started his own MS-DOS.

One guy has 6% of the OS market, the other has 90%

    You get the picture.

All he thinks about is control and himself... "I-THIS" "I-THAT" "I" !!

    Man talk about blatant envy!!

Jobs Jesus? yeah he wishes !! Next year "I-Jesus!"

PS- He released Apple for $666.66

  • You just talk about money, and market share. Nothing else. Don't be lame.

  • Ur right, I should make up shit like most Mactards.

Like he created pixar(he just bought it).

Or Multitouch techonology (bought it from fingerworks)

That the OS is better yet most benchmarks containing equal priced machines (sometimes with the same hardware) showing MACs only better at things render related.

MAC OS that died in 2K so they went to a Unix based OS.

    MAC has crap NOS.

The iPHONE will be a closed OS, so no additional 3rd party programs(info from Jobs himself!)

    shall I continue?

  • So emotional... Look at this standing ovation, nobody can say that Steve Jobs is a loser! What a moment!! And for the ones who say that this is just computers and electronics stuff... for me, it's a passion! And for Steve Jobs, it's his HUGE contribution to this world! Think about that!!

  • steve jobs worked for pixar??? pixar as in studio animation gods??? really???

  • Steve Jobs was Pixar's CEO until last year, when it was bought by Disney. Now he's part of Disney Administation Council, and owns 7 percents of Disney

  • He owned Pixar. He bought a division of LucasFilm from Lucas during George's divorce related cash shortage.

  • Not just. He created Pixar.

  • Steve Jobs > Jesus

  • Steve Jobs is awesome but Jobs < Jesus
