I have one strange problem : I need to press really hard to switch on the wah. This is so annoying. I have to apply extreme force to switch it on and then switch it off. I can't do this when i am sitting. I have to stand to switch it on. Why is this so ? Is it normal ? The pedal works fine. Volume other effects work fine. But i can't turn on the wah with ease, i can't do this as easily as you did in this video. Please reply soon.
@UltimateGuitarist17 and could you tell me how you could do that? See im trying to put an auto wah on controll 1 or 2. So when i press the controll 1 or 2 the auto wah starts without me using the paddle. Any tips?
@shaqdaddy11 you need to hit the button to the far left where all the effects are and assign it from there i sold my GT-10 a while back and only remember that you can, just read the manual though
Good video although the best way to demo a wah-wah is with a clean sound.. with distortion or a bit of drive there isn't hardly a distinction between the sounds
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
DUDE!!
this guy is full of shit you arent changing wah types you havent pressed any of the buttons.
and dont tell me i dont know shit cuz i own a gt10 and to change wahs u have to do it in the FX menu and u havent changed anything your still in the same patch in the same bank????
the manual to this beast is really pissing me off because it says you can make a custom wah by setting the type to custom and it says that you can adjust q settings and frequency and all that good shit but i cant find how to adjust any of that on my gt 10
well...i dont have the gt.10...bit if is like with the gt-6 you have to press on the button, where the wah is (fx-2 on the gt-6), scroll sideways by rotating the circular button, until the display showas wahwah.
Then you yimply use the cursor to go right (the gt-6 had 2 extra buttons for this). The the parameters fpr the wah should pop up one by one. You can change the values by rotating the wheel again.
Hit the Button that says "master / pedal FX" then enter "pedal FX" and hit the arrow button to move to the wah and from there you just tweak with the parameter knob and the roller thingy to change whatever. I didnt even realise I left a comment here 2 months ago.
wasn't he (bossgtten) suppose to tell us all how he changed the wah effect?????? LOL - he left us fucking wondering how the fuck to do it... well, I don't own a GT-10, but I want to know about it... instead, I got a Distortion DS-1 BOSS and a Chorus Behringer, quite good, I guess.

wow, the sound is very tight.....IM IN A FIX!!! someone tell me, GT-10 or POD XT? i wanna get a multi fx, but dunno if i should save another month for the gt-10 when i can get the pod xt now...im using a squier bullet strat which i'm not intending to change due to budget constraints...so basically...help!!!
Havent tried the GT-10 but I played on the XT live with my fender strat.. YJM pickup in the neck and Stock American on the bridge and both pickups sounded horrible with that pedal.. I could maybe play with 3distortian tones and 2cleans on that amp If I actually paid for it..
i've always found boss tone the best... but a lot of people tell me that the zoom g9.2tt is better than this.... please tell me whether this is better than the zoom g9.2tt and the line6 pod x3 live...
So hey guys, for those who owns GT 10. How long have you guys had? I thinking buying line 6 or Gt 10 but not sure they will last long or not....if these don't last that long, Im thinking just getting compact ones...let me know guys
had mine for half a year. I cant tell you about the line 6, since Ive only used it for a halfhour at a friends house. The GT10 is incredible, if you choose it Im sure you wont feel bad about your decision, since it's awesome.
The only problem I found with it was it's high "learning curve", since I was used to using the cheap digitech pedalboards that pretty much are made to plug and play.
But yeah, once you get used to the gt10 you'll find it has almost everything you can think of
true that wah isnt good but this unit sound alot better than most of the multi effects out there if use correctly anything can affect the tone your pickups , cables, your guitar, and amp especially your amp
I LOVE IT! It's definetly a BIG improvement on the GT-8. I would reccomend this to anyone at any skill level because it accomidates for any type of player. It also accomidates from the traditionalist through to someone who likes a modern way of setting tones and peforming them live.

On the GT10 is there anyway to switch between the wah and pitch bend? As it'd be nice to be able to switch whilst playing.

There are several ways. You can use the CTL Switch or the Expression Pedal Switch (Which is when you put your toes all the way down)
